Saxo they are either best team in cycling history or doped to their brims.

this type of breakaways happens but not with half of them being from same team , time trialing against the wind

I agree. Riding hard for 24km as a team is near impossible.

It was a Sky failure and unfortunately, just like Wiggins & Froome can't take anything that improves their downhilling, no amount of doping gives you on the road tactical acumen.

HTC got 7 out of 25 in the '09 tour. Crosswind stages aren't common, but this is the sort of thing that happens on them.

Maybe because "everybody else" was not one single cooperating unit giving EVERYTHING!!!! Just take a look athow many different teams and riders who lead the Froome group... Some of them even with 1/10 the motivation of the Saxo boys..

For a long time they only had 10 sec. But the moment the got to 20 it was over for the Froome group..

Why?

If Sky was leading alone 6 guys including their captain (like Saxo) Then the gap was more likely to be closed..
