I think this would seem a sensible position to take and one I'd agree with.

p.s. how does one get offended at 'misuse' of a forum handle?? :) Seems to be a lot of intentional Wiggans, Johan Brailsford, Liestrong Phat etc. bandied about the place anyway that goes unnoted.

If a British (or Sky rider) was caught - mainland Europe would shrug, the new fans in the US (if there are any left) wouldn't even know who it was. It would be another embarrassment for true cycling fans, of whatever nationality, but they will remain.
It would be only big in Britain.

Pro Cycling will never die - but it is at rock bottom and has been there some time now. Races going under, merry go round of sponsors, dodgy sponsors (Pegasus), falling participation in racing at entry level.

it's not. global cycling growth has been enormous for many years now and viewing numbers for big races are too. the tour is the biggest it's ever been.

I remember in 1998, people said it's the end of cycling/tour. 1998 became the most watched tour up to then. in fact festina sold more watches in 1998 then they ever did since, because of that. that's also why the continued as a sponsor.

in the end people don't care for doping. it's like pro-wrestling people like the action and suspense of disbelief. vino is the most popular cyclist and everyone knows he has doped, that doesn't make him any less popular. I dare say even to the contrary, because he came back and kicked everyone's ***. I was at the giro start in amsterdam. the people when vino started went more nuts then all the other cyclists combined. something I've never seen in bike race before.

the balco and mlb doping case. since then mlb crowd attedances have bene bigger than ever. more merchandise sold than ever and viewing numbers.

in bodybuilding you have 2 forms of competition. the one clean and the one where you can use wat you want. which do you think is the biggest and most popular you think?

don't let what a few idiots in the clinic think and want shroud your judgement.

The mods have been notified of your derogatory comments.

Please refrain.

Let the record show this is my fourth request to you in requesting you to refrain from making such comments.

Thank-you.

You are the guy who swore you had inside information that lance would not ride the 2010tour and flamed anyone who posted suggestions that he might. You swore you had inside info that contador would join garmin and even handpicked a date on which this announcement was to take place. You swore you had inside info that ferrari was sky's doctor then backed off as details on lienders came out. Just last week you were claiming lance was going to talk about wiggins on oprah. Even more recently you suggested sky had failed a test at the vuelta.

Oh and you started a troll thread claiming to have come.accross breaking news that cav was protecting lance yet offering absolutely nothing to back this up.

From what i understand you even began to accuse sky fans of supporting doping of young people.

Considering all this, and more, the words "hoggies porkies " are actually quite mild and inaccurate only in that they don't go far enough. The protest that this comment has anything to do with gender is bizarre, and a claim.to take offense at it may even be sexist in itself.

And even if it was as offensive as you claim, a wannabe whistleblower such as yourself should have thicker skin than to wilt at being called a girls name.

Your protests over that post are a joke and a waste of time for anyone who spent any time reading though them. If you really did report the post to the moderators i hope they have some internet equivalent of - wasting police time, and that it carries a high maximum allowable sentence.

Because even if your trolling is intended to only annoy sky fans,.it actually annoys almost everyone.

It is funny how most of the 'clean peloton" talk is coming out of the Sky camp.

Those dirty, dopers on all the other teams just can't admit that. Sore losers.

Can you please give examples? I've seen a general adoption of 'cycling's been clean since 2005/2006' from a wide spread of riders. Seems to me like a sweeping generalisation with little quanitifiable to back it.

Of course it suits your narrative

Yes. Always have. Armstrong for one. I was there in 1999 calling it and never waived my position on the matter. In the face of adversity mind you and horrendous name calling.

Spanish riders. Plenty. French riders. Yes. Italian riders, yes.

I've called O'Grady out for years. As well as Matt White. I've known about their doping at Cofidis.

Nationality doesn't stop me. I call it how it is.

Doping does not confine itself to international boundaries.

The Hitch spells it out. Chapeau in turn.

You did forget the statement during the Vuelta when he said Froome would have his last bag on the last rest day and rally to finish on the podium. Not a prediction mind, an absolute statement.

your oversensitive response though tells me ebandit was spot on...

What about Boswell or Dombrowski? say they performed heroics in a race or races this year for Sky would you bring that to the Sky clinic thread?

Yeah.
Brazilian Alex Diniz rides away on a San Luis mountain, beating a shed load of European climbers, including Bertie Cont.
Snr Diniz just back from a 2 year holiday for an epo pos, too.

Called out? I think not.

(NB. I actually meant Alberto Contador. Hope he's not offended.)

Or you making fun of Wiggins get hit by a car? Implying that "Sky haters" would use it as an excuse of doping.

I have ignored "ebandit" for 7 weeks now. Never replying to one post. The attacks continued.

I did what I should have done. Respectfully asked him to stop. 5 times.

When he didn't I reported it to the moderators.

That is the correct procedure.

Jesus, you sound so excited and positive about everything you posted! From any rational, morally balanced perspective, what you've described is the very definition of rock bottom. Honestly, you've no idea how weird what you wrote, or the excited tone of it, sounds.

I didn't think it mattered any more.
For two days this thread was allowed to run mostly on Thomas Dekker stuff, even though he had one of his own.

Well seeing the extent of Sky's doping programme they probably had a hand in Dekker's doping. Most likely News corp made a secret takeover of Rabobank and made all riders under the age of 22 dope double as much as those above. And then after Rabobank finished doping they sent their head doping doctor over to Sky to help with the doping programme over there.

But not myself. I called you out on it.

I also have forum people here posting photos of Cav giving two fingers and stating that its for me.

That's a direct attack. I've reported that also.

I never get personal on other forum members. Their opinion is their own and their right.

I've done what is appropriate. Ignore those who personally attack me.

I like you and enjoy our jousting. I respect your opinion even though it differs from mine.

OPen again. I am feeling gracious and will not hand out any bans at this time.

HOWEVER: No more insults. No more personal stuff. No more dumb nicknames, whether for users or public figures. And above all: don't take this all so seriously!

Please remember that it is possible to disagree with one another without being rude.

And that further violations will indeed bring a ban in their wake.

Thank you.
