I think that was Porte's warm down from yesterday.

He didn't look tired at all.

Going to be an awesome season.

Sky should go 1-2-3 in all Grand Tours.

Should win Roubaix and Flanders as well.

to be sure, looking tired or not doesn't mean much.
I mean just take Boogerd. If looking tired were a reliable criterion, I'd say he was clean as hell.

Porte was peaking for P-N as he will have to drag the big dogs around for the rest of the season.

That and he's beating a bunch of nobodies. I mean even LLS won P-N when it included this MTF.

But this is the guy who under Sir Bjarne Riis was finishing 4 minutes down on mountain stages on a great day, and 20 minutes down on a bad day.

The positive thing about Sky is that we might expect some great loco mountain solo breaks from Joe Dombrowski in future.

There was 4 hours of torrential rain today. But don't let that get in the way of a good story.

Porte should out climb Contador this year.

Fun times.

The irony is, if Lopez would have done this back on Movistar for valverde or costa, or if he'd signed for cannondale and did it for Sagan, he'd be praised

Then we would call it as we see it.

So, you, Englishman, have actually seen David Lopez riding like this before in his more than splendid carreer?

Gotta be kiddin' me.

Not in here he wouldn't.

Who believes Movistar are not doping or cannondale.

There are more than Sky threads in here, if you care to look.

It wasn't beyond ridiculous, there were 20 or so idlers left when he pulled off. And he did perform on this mountain in 2009

The SKY is the limit peeps.

Big laugh over here. Murdog and his dogs have turned cycling even more into entertainment.

Is SKY really still doping in the face of all that has happened to cycling in the last year?? Or are their results genuine? Sorry, I sort of coughed on that last word. But they are snapping up everything! You know when I saw british results in the last olympics I said these folks have something that we don't know about. Perhaps thats the catch. But I would like to hear your opinion if you think Sky is still doping like last year

As I don't actually know whether they were doping last year, I don't know whether they are doping this year like last year or if they weren't doping last year I don't know if they are doping this year unlike last year? That makes perfect sense. I. think.

Man this is gonna be a really long season if team marginal gains are gonna win every race. At least with US postal you didnt have to put up with them all year long.

Tapping into the Anglo-cycling market, after many markets got a little tighter, most notably now USA/LA has lost its allure. There is lots of money to be made and everyone will share in the profits. We just need new heroes to get people to open their wallets.

With Tour de France and Giro starts in the UK and Ireland; what would excite new fans/customers more than a 'ho(r)m(on)e grown' team. It worked in Germany (Team Ulle), the Netherlands (RAB), the USA(USPO).

The UCI approves of this message.

It is a sad state of affairs when entertaining dopers like Ricco are banned for life only to have their places taken by equally ridiculous but boring replacements. Heck, there is a good case to be made for Sky being more ridiculous than Ricco. At least with Ricco there were ludicrous performances from riders on other teams.

funny how people cast aspertions about SKY yet AFAIK NONE of their performances have EVER shown a suspiciously high watts/kg number. but who cares about hard facts when it is so much easier to just waffle rubbish?

Nothing suspicious about having riders that have spent the vast majority of their careers in the gruppetto suddenly riding like theyre the second coming of Lemond and Hinault.
