Great point, completely impossible to dope with blood passport in place, why hadn't someone thought of that before.

Lock thread please.

Very carefully.

And on top of that, with stuff that isn't blood doping.

Nothing suspicious about richie porte being faster than 09 FranK Schleck ?

Was that the one who recently received a one year suspension for the use of banned substances?

I think I remember. He was a really good cyclist who did well on mountain stages and even showed some GC talent at times (read TdF), right? He was so good, he could at times hang with the mighty Contador! That old fox Frank Schleck... such a good rider. I bet he still is, if he finds a good replacement doctor. The old one is said to have aroused some negative suspicions.

Oh, brother. The 500-tests defense cannot be far off.

what a lot of u guys dont seem to realise is there's a million reasons why a cyclists performances can improve apart from doping. for example, SKY'S training in Tenerife gives them a big advantage i believe as they get in a dedicated block of high-altitude training in the winter which AFAIK most teams arent able to replicate.

Simple question.
Since you appear to put much faith in the Biological Passport that everyone is using, are you also claiming that no rider is currently doped?

Read up on what other teams do, please.

The Clinic would be a much better place if the fanboys followed cycling rather than Team Sky.

How about list 10 of the million reasons why the clean Sky beats all those doping teams?

These better be things that other teams are not doing.

I suggest you read the relevant pages of this thread and the one on Froome, then. It's all there.

i dont remember HTC being accused of doping when they were dominating sprint finishes so why are SKY getting it for dominating climbs?

Check some threads from the good old HTC days.

I said these folks have something that we don't know about. Perhaps thats the catch. But I would like to hear your opinion if you think Sky is still doping like last year

This what I keep wondering. What theories do people on here have as to what Sky may be doing that other teams / riders are not?

Lets be fair, Richie Porte has shown some promise even before he joined Sky. But rather than winning in the style he did today, based upon Pre Sky form I'd have expected him to be finishing with van Garderen's group, not 33 seconds ahead in just two kilometres.

Marginal Gains - I don't think so.

Was just thinking about Brailsford recent wish for Sky to become the most admired team in the world and how that statement fares here...

As far as what Sky might be doing, in Australian Sport there is a big stink currently going on over alleged doping of Rugby League and AFL footballers (refer Australian Crime Commission thread). It is said they have been using "Peptides" that WADA added to the banned list around 2011. Does anyone know much about these Peptides and if they could be beneficial in road cycling e.g. assist in recovery?

Personally I had never heard of Peptides until the Australian Crime Commission and ASADA brought it up last month. I know Testosterone has been popular in Pro Cycling but maybe these Peptides do a similar thing but less detectable?

Most people don't admire people who lie to them.
