Or he has always run an independent program*. Lack of improvement = u23 and neopro results were due to dope advantage which doesn't persist at the pointy end**.

*Of marginal gains of course, Norwegians have stone grinding so don't need to dope.

**I like to think EBH is clean.

I do too. This does neatly demonstrate all the variables and intepretations you can draw from the same story/data

Hog in Sky rider doping shocker

No Jimmy all clean.

What you're seeing is very normal.

Stannard will win the Tour in 3 years.

Thomas will probably win as well.

In fact all of them have a chance to win.

Except EBH. He's suseptable to food poisoning.

Give him to FdJ.

Clean cycling is here. And it's great seeing clean riders win the GTs.

Stannard not on Teide?

Stannard has a reputation for being good in tough conditions. 3rd in Kuurne-Brussels in 2010 is terrible condtions, and a decent showing in Gent the following year, breaking away with Sagan and Chavanel before getting caught by the bunch 500m shy.

Oh wait, he's just a club rider. And British road race champion.

Its good, I believe you. Sky will hand the yellow jersey around the team like a pass-the-parcel for the next few years, picking which Brit they want to win it next. They draw lots but the Brailsford 4 get two chances to draw.

EBH is frozen out, he doesn't give good enough face and was mean to Brailsford's dog once.

Given you said Wiggins was working with Ferrari (100% Guaranteed ™) what have you done about it recently? I have not seen it leaked to the press and yet that could ruin Sky. What are you waiting for?

The big fun comes when Brailsford's go comes - he'll be 53 by then, it'll be fun!

Come on... Hoggy has worked at the AIS (According to himself). He has seen things we couldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. He's watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Note. I may have made some of that up.

Why do you think that Hoggy?

My views have changed after reading JV's post.

Although he remains skeptical of Sky he does think its human and thus clean.

I think I've shifted as well.

They are most likely clean and any doping would be one off individual doping.

Oh, I am not saying he is a fool Jim, just not the one one would expect on the Poggio. It were good conditions for him, no doubt about that.

I was quoting the part that SKY had a disadvantage from returning from Teide, given the weather while Tenerife had very, very bad weather last week. Come to think of it, Brailsford must be family of Nostradamous :D

He just has to learn Kirienka to stay on his bike...

That last bit about him being a club rider was directed elsewhere :D

It was an impressive showing, no doubt, but Stannard has proved himself to be over the last few season as someone with a massive engine, albeit a bit of a one-speed one, and a really gutsy rider. He did well on the Cauberg at the worlds remember.

Great rider, great race IMO. He was never going to win it unless he could make a long attack stick, and he couldn't.

And, he has a great mentor.

Good to see Wiggo has survived Teide better than Eddy BH :)

JV wrote a thess on Sky in his thread. You should read it.

He makes good points.

He is worried about Sky but at the moment he states they're (probably) clean.

in the last decade doping in cycling has become a six degrees, heck, lets make it seven, seven degrees of Kevin Bacon and Pause-able de-liability.

if you want evidence of a threshold to deny someones liberty in a criminal court, that is a threshold too high and you get Armstrong. because the threshold effectively looks askance when someone does the landis levi withdrawal in the sanctity of your own home, and then re-infuse in the privacy of your hotel room where all mouse holes are duct-taped over.

I agree. It's just impossible to connect BC protecting Sky right now. Like USA Cycling and the multiple doped riders they protect, if it happened, then it will come out.

I just mentioned it as a reminder that BC's role as both anti-doping enforcer and team stakeholder is hopelessly compromised.

If i was JV i would be worried about how my own clean team is getting so badly outclassed by another clean team.

Everyone knows you have to warm up/down to gain 15% power, and also to bring your own pillow to Tenerife.

So why is his team still nowhere near Sky? Sky bought all the best talents. But noone knew they were the best talentets before they came to Sky.
