Is BC an anti-doping enforcer?

Yes, of course. The national federation has a couple of different roles in the anti-doping process. This is a very useful feature of the bio-passport and the IOC's anti-doping controversy strategy.

To be fair, the UCI itself has a bigger role in letting doping strategically flourish at the Pro level. There is nothing controversial in stating national federations definitely help protect favored riders when needed. All of Sky's British athletes would fall into the "favored" category.

This is where Sky drops the "brilliant team management" story while they are backpedaling on Lienders on the same day.

Both are totally consistent with Pro Cycling. Which is why it will be a small-time sport. They can't seem to hide the corruption like Football or F1.

If i was JV i would be worried about how my own clean team is getting so badly outclassed by another clean team.

Everyone knows you have to warm up/down to gain 15% power, and also to bring your own pillow to Tenerife.

So why is his team still nowhere near Sky? Sky bought all the best talents. But noone knew they were the best talentets before they came to Sky.

If you pay them more money they tend to go faster...

Wiggins will win the Giro at this rate.

He didn't look so good at Oman but he really has managed to turn things around up there in Tiede with no distractions and all that. You know where things are stripped back. No Doctors.

You're Trolling or what ? How do you know he did in Oman ? There was no live coverage ?.. So how can you judge how he did ?

Only real indications are reports, and it seems he did plenty of work early in stages for Froome..

Btw, few months ago you said there was some clear evidence going soon in open to public against Sky, where is it may I ask ?

Since when did Oman become the barometer of things to come 4 months later?

Its my view that everything you write on this forum should be taken with a large pinch of salt.

Its a good starting point.

JV thinks they're probably clean.

I think the same. Even though they are very successful and have a strong team its not like they're climbing like Pantani did.

I think the same. There's too much to lose if they had a doping positive.

Its not worth the risk.

The numbers are down. Looks to me as though they are clean.

Any doping is one off indivdual doping.

This is good news as it probably means the peloton is clean as Sky are dominating at the moment. The season is young so lets see how they go once we get to July.

JV wrote a thess on Sky in his thread. You should read it.

He makes good points.

He is worried about Sky but at the moment he states they're (probably) clean.

Me...?? I agree with you thehog. JV writes thesis on Sky thread and Sky is probably clean. I agree.

I agree also. You don't see mountain trains like that from dirty teams anymore, so they must be legit.

Exactly. Only the clean teams can do that now.

Based on what the public knows about the BioPass, and how diligently the UCI keeps tabs on GT contenders (Ryder with no data for months), we have to assume that everything is good.

All those guys who were stomping in the 'EPO era'? I guess they all cleaned up. Or at least since 2006. They've never lied before, right?

Yay for clean cycling!

(I just puked in mouth a little bit)

Sky are on their bikes 10 hours* a day, busting it.
What are you on?

*Not including warm up/warm down.

warm up's and warm down. Novel Idea. I never thought to put that into my program. Must remember that for tomorrows run.

I bet during the Holidays if you phone up Wiggan he is on recon training up AlpeD. or Mt.V . Then while on the phone he will hit a cool down.

If Lance says it's impossible to cheat then you know it's impossible.

And it's not that Lance would be lying right? I mean he confessed

Did Sky test positive? No so obviously they don't dope.

Hundreds, maybe even thousands of tests and none positive, don't be stupid, no dope here.

Stay away from Tenerife because you might get tested once in 8 weeks. Maybe once every 12 weeks. Maybe never.

The passport has changed cycling.
