Sky has proven that doping no longer works. Its much easier to improve your power in other ways, so why would they dope?

I expect the Garmin train to dominate the mountains in the tour this year, because surely Vaughters must have told his riders to warm up/down by now.

And i guess the old school dopers like sir Bjarne and Astana will be left behind again, since they are too stubborn and proud to realize that what it takes to win in this day and age is not doping.

Ferrari and Fuentes are furious. Sky has single handily put them out of business. No one dopes anymore.

Sky have shown that hard work really does win races. It's incredible.

Ferrari has gone cold turkey. He has no clients left.

There's a global recession on now for doping doctors.

There's no work for them anymore.

Not like the glory days of the 2000's.

It all stopped in 2006 and with the passport.

Being a Brit I'm proud of Sky, didn't think clean cycling was possible a bit ago but it's a new generation for cycling now, probably.

Chapeau.

kind euphemism for personal Motoman?

Well, he rides the motorbike while Cav rides his pushbike.

But his 50.3% test has been discussed as naseum:

# naturally high HG figure = proved
# variation in results/timeing/hydration = possible
# savvy with procycling at time, may have been doping on side = possible
# never picked for team GB afterwards = proved

Proved high Hgb? What an absolute bargain of a bridge I have to sell to you today. It does 0-100 in 5.6 seconds too! 2,000 mpg. Runs on water.

Gimme a break.

If it was proved he already would have had an exception - he'd been competing at world level track events for 8 years.

This seems significant. And he has precisely nothing to do with Team Sky, apart from commentating on them on the telly occaisionally.

To be fair, I don't think he meant it that literally.

On the other hand, it could also be read as "these days people only smoke pot, not crack anymore"...

Noone ever paid this much attention to track racing, but then noone ever got paid the big bikkies either.

What did that Linda McCartney team manager say? Let's ride the gravy train to the Tour de France?

Wiggins is in trouble then.

That joint he had in the off season will lead to crack addiction.

I would love to hear Sir Dave's take on the economic crisis, that man is so versatile.
"I do think anyone can rehabilitate themselves. It is down to the individual. Suing people [journalists], bullying was unpleasant."
Also a way of putting it.

Judging by the comments on the article he's really hit an accord with the British public ;)

Actually there is nothing in there besides some warm air....

Marginal gains will come to football though, perhaps even the warming down....
oh god please no. Nothing could be worse than football sliming out of its own doping problems by claiming marginal gains.

What about the football club Club Deportivo Tenerife. Imagine what the posters on forums say about them and doping. After all, they are always off training in Tenerife. Very convenient...
