Ok - I'll do a deal with you. If he is outed in the next 6 years I'll give £100 to charity. If he isn't will you pay up?
Benotti69 said:Wiggins is a doper.
The Hitch said:But they are nobodies and they don't matter.
So again, why don't the release their blood values?

«There is no secret at Team Sky, they simply do all the little things better than anyone else, focusing on the details that matter. These are the little things that help make big things possible.»
RownhamHill said:Because the only people questioning them are nobodies who don't matter?

"they simply do all the little things better than anyone else, focusing on the details that matter."
And they wonder, when asked whether they did a Vo2Max test on Froome and the answer is, no, people just find it incredulous!
Or when asked why 'marginal gains' worked so well on Wiggins, Froome, Rogers, Porte and not the super talented EBH, they mumble....
When they state that attacking up climbs are signs of doping and Sky dont do that until Froomes does so they then come out with 'Clean performances are surpassing doped performances' with no evidence to support this!
Now we Henao who showed an anomaly and they instead of calling it "rider popped for irregular blood value" they twist it to "scientific study on altitude natives".
Benotti69 said:It took how many years to bust Armstrong 15 years and you want me to bet on 6 years with a British President of the UCI. I aint stupid!
Justinr said:Ok I'll give you the benefit there - 10 years.
If as you / others are saying Sky are using some new wonder drug then I'm sure there will be a test sometime soon and if they are using then they will be popped.

The Hitch said:No, but jimmy said "twitterati and the clinic" not doubters in general.
On another note though, if sky don't think releasing data is a good thing transparency wiesz why did they try that grappe stunt where they gave totally irrelevant info and try to pass it off as a transparent noble action.
webbie146 said:Yea I even know amateur riders myself that have taken a V02 test, but a tdf winner has not
If Froome was truly a amazing once in a lifetime athlete they would release his V02 test which should be among the very best there has every been recorded. Of course they won't because his V02 is not impressive enough and that would raise a lot of questions so the 'never done that' defense get's used![]()
Benotti69 said:Again 15 years for Armstrong! !0 years for Wiggins, a Knight of the British Empire and you think Cookson is going to let him be caught? Really?
If Wiggins is caught and I hope he will be along with anyone cheating at sport from the Williams sisters to Tiger Woods, Usain Bolt and to the Master racers who think doping is ok. It aint!
I am not going to take a bet online. So drop it and make a reasoned argument about why Froome is clean when the history of the sport is of doping and other teams have not declared themselves as white knights of the sport like Sky?
Benotti69 said:Join your local gym and they will vo2 max test you FFS!
webbie146 said:And how many times do old samples get retested? They got a Aicar test done now right. It's widely know that Aicar was being used in 09. Did they bother to re-test any samples and catch a bunch of guys? Of course not.
RownhamHill said:To be fair Wiggins podiumed the tour five years ago in July, and won his first Olympic gold ten years ago, so I guess it depends when you start counting the 15 years from?
Justinr said:That's true - I went on an exercise bike at my local gym and it gave me a VO2 reading. All I was doing was peddling - no Oxygen mask or anything fancy. Now quite how accurate it was is anybody's guess...

Benotti69 said:Well my gym had the mask, machine the whole works and it is not a fancy expensive gym. It is hardly new technology.
Bet there are some well kitted out gyms in Monaco. The Football squad would no doubt accommodate a star like Froome if they wanted a Vo2max test, but hey why release a simple number like that. Probably in its 70s.![]()
Justinr said:Well it was never intended as a bet, that's why I mentioned charity. I believe - you don't and that's fair enough - I'm happy to calm the debate down.
It does make me laugh though when people use the 'looks like a duck' comment. My friends wife looks like a porn star but isn't one...
I look forward to more healthy sparring.
