The sport the UCI constantly defers to, Formula One turns out to be a mess and getting worse. http://www.theguardian.com/sport/blog/2014/oct/27/us-grand-prix-formula-one-mario-andretti-f1

Now, against a background of spiralling costs, unequal payments to teams, falling crowds and TV audiences, as well as declining sponsorship and no agreement about capping costs, the sport has reached the point of no return.

Meanwhile, Bernie and his friends have been siphoning revenues.
CVC has made an estimated $8.2bn from its investment in Formula One since 2006 but its profits have not been reinvested in the sport.

Wait a minute, that's EXACTLY what the UCI is doing! Under the table.

Clearly Nathan is in error. How could he possibly learn something from non-team riders or other teams when he's a member of the most cutting edge, marginal gain, miraculous transformation, totally transparent team of all time since forever?

Tongue firmly planted in cheek, in case you were wondering.

Someone didn't read their media guide!!!! Guess who.

Allegations in Gazzetta that Ferrari client Possoni (then at Sky) was using a hypoxic tent in 2010. Illegal in Italy, allowed by WADA.

Sky knew nothing of course..

Course that's all he did Pete!

Does he think we're stupid.

Amazing coincidence. The guy sky hired to read weights in the morning turned out to be one of the best doping doctors in the world.

As someone else mentioned, Kennaugh would sound more credible if he had also spoken out against Rogers.

Seems strange that Kennaugh complains about riders who say they 'only trained' with a prominent doping doctor, then claims that he only trained with a prominent doping doctor himself. Obviously, Kennaugh is clean but he's not doing himself any favours.

at some point I think they really leave in this environment where just "pockets of sofisticated dopers" are doing it. and it is normal, and they don't see it as a fraud.
he's mad? he's naive? he's trolling?
I don't know
doesn't he talk with his team mates? he has twitter, does he read even 5% of what people say about doping?
i don't know

Tremendous stuff. This must be what people mean when they allude to Sky's budget being so large as an explanation for them crushing all the dopers. They have so much money they can hire a doctore as "official scale reader".

The convo basically went like this

Kennaugh- How can anyone believe Astana when they say they hired a doping doctor for innocent reasons.
Fan- didn't you say the same thing
Kennaugh- That's because in our case, we really did hire the doping doctor for innocent reasons. Ignore list.

Another example of Sky seeing it as one rule for them and a totally different set of rules for everyone else.
Just like when Wiggins started crying and throwing insults at people who doubt his TDF victory when a few years earlier he was throwing doubts at everyone who was competing at the top end of the sport.

These people are disgusting.

Maybe I have this mixed up but iirc, wasn't one of the young Sky guys, maybe Kennaugh or someone else, caught saying nice things about Lance on the day the Reasoned Decision came out, then after being brought into line by brunyeelsford and the next day were on British Radio talking about how bad Lance is and reassuring the public that everyone in Sky hates Lance and is disgusted by him.

I think in Kennaugh's case he is probably just a bit thick. His twitter account looks like it's been written by a 9 year old. I think he probably genuinely believes that Froome and Wiggins are clean.

Clearly he and Porte won’t be chosen on the pub quiz team?
