Technology briefly restored in time to hear Contador say he thinks he can win both Tour and Vuelta.

He is going to have to start backing up these claims in 2014. Saxo will surely have made that clear to AC. I would like to believe that it's possible but I'm struggling :(

Thanks. The man from Saxo Bank mentioned they would have 28 riders of 15 nationalities in his bit at the press conference. So either they have another 12 riders confirmed we don't yet know about or he was talking about this year and mixing his words....

I think they had 29 of 14 nationalities this year but perhaps the guy was confused

He aint gonna win any of those two. You can take that to the bank.

He ought to be able to win the Vuelta. Probably has a lot more freedom in Spain. . .

It wouldn't be the first time Riis had a bunch of guys signed, but wasn't announcing the names yet. That man loves to drip, drip, drip out the names way late in the season, and sometimes after they've already been guessed.

I saw where Sammy says he hasn't been contacted by Saxo. If Berto doesn't step in and help a brother out, I'm going to be awfully disappointed in him.

Re Lulu - that's one signing that Riis should really go for. With the Belkin buyout, Lulu will come cheap. And Bjarne is definitely cheap :D

This I don't get. The Hamilton book was far more damaging.

Oh you've already ridden the book right?

So there was nothing written in it what could've brought Riis into big difficulties if he hadn't sold the team now if Rasmussen and others had also testified it to the Danish authorities?

Riis is one of the biggest non talents which suddenly became a champion in the 90s because of reason we are not allowed to discuss here.

And he has never changed that attitude as a director sportif toward his riders!

Hopefully this rat has to leave the stage as soon as possible!

Hmm, who's worse for cycling? Tinkov or Riis...

I think I'd rather see Riis stay around then see Tinkov take up ownership of the team. At least Riis doesn't make a fool of himself by going to twitter with idiotic comments.

How would Saxo owned by Tinkov even work out? Just a few months ago Tinkov was bashing Saxo's main man Contador for something he should have expected could happen.

Setting aside whether or not Tinkof is getting involved once more with Saxo Bank, I truly believe Riis is in deep trouble with the Dane federation, which is why he's forced to "consider" alternatives to maintain afloat the team-I even dare to speculate Bjarne might be looking to step down & sell it all together, so he can fade away from all the current scandals & perhaps start from scratch....

Isn't Alonso looking for a team
