Lol.
Most dominant team in a GT since? All 3 jerseys, 5 stage wins, constant domination and would have had 2 riders on podium if Roglic didn't crash.
Afaik Telekom in 1996. They had 1 and 2 in gc, green, white and 5 stages. But they also had the "decency" to let others win stages like the one to Cahors (Bart Voskamp beating Heppner in the stage after the pyrenees). Sky in 2012 had 6 stages and 1 and 2 in gc. La Vie Claire in 1986 was also ridiculous ( they had 4 riders in the top 10 of gc, iirc).

La Vie Claire was insane, but basically it was divided between the LeMond and Hinault camps.

I’m not really suspicious of WVA. He’s been a talent, and clearly can climb well, he’s done that the last three years. If the opposition wants to really narrow down on someone, it has to be Laporte, who has his best season by miles this year. I think something’s fishy around him.
There's a vast gap between "can climb well" and "is the second strongest climber of the race on Hautacam coming from the break". Especially when that "can climb well" was already raising some eyebrows by itself.

He’s been climbing well since Le Tour 2020, where he got 20th in GC. I don’t think that part is raising eyebrows.

Coming from his history as a Classics and cross specialist with a strong sprint, his climbing at the Tour 2020 was already considered pretty ridiculous by many in this forum. He just managed to raise it to a whole nother level last year (Mont Ventoux) and this year.

For me it's Van Hooydonck with the most ridiculous change this year. He was known as a good time trialist but hasn't been much in top 20 in those. Only the 6-7th best in Belgium. Couldn't cross a bridge to save his life in stage races or classics.

The stage where he pulled the peloton for 90km on the flat before reducing the group to 25 on a big mountain was just weird to see.

It was 4 in the Top 7 and the division in the team reached the point where people on the team were starting to back Hampsten in private, hoping he'd put Hinault and LeMond in their place the environment was so toxic.

At least from the outside Jumbo seems quite harmonious.

Until the UCI or whoever is responsible for the doping controls finds something concrete we are restricted to venting our spleens in the Clinic. The passport might not reveal anything for years (Cobo).

But I object to the obvious revenge being enacted by this team over what happened on La Planche des Belles Filles in 2020. And today we had our collective noses rubbed in it with Laporte.

Enough. I find it impossible to enjoy this Tour, I don't enjoy being insulted.

"Revenge Tour" is correct terminology. They've taken their 'revenge' on everyone involved in that result, including Roglic as well (i.e. given the 'chance' to literally bend the knee & serve, but nothing more).

In any case they're taking the p*ss now, even with their pr department, i.e. Grischa Niermann literally saying Laporte is "pas normal"
