Only 68 points from Vanendert but i am ok with that, he showed he was strong and will be good in the Ardennes. Johan CHAVEZ RUBIO finished 2 places off getting me 5 points ( keep on going ).

Thx for that CQM ( it looks cool ).

A quick fun status update at this point of the season:

It seems as though that those who played the game last year are doing better than the newcomers.
The average position for the "veterans" is 55.5 while for the "rookies" it's 72.6. Will this even itself out?

Website is updated .... http://cqmanager.net/rankings/

Looking through some of the Top Picks I decided to run a quick report of TOP 33 riders that are ALREADY profitable. Valverde is included because I didnt adjust the cost but you would be able to buy him as well since the cost without Valverde is just 4421.

If you had these 33 guys, you would have already scored 9065 points!

it would be interesting to know who is the best "rookie" at the moment :)

I'm a rookie and I'm 7th, but I don't know if the others are veterans or rookies

That is shalgo in 3rd place. Popchu in 4th is also a newcomer. You're currently the 3rd best rookie, though :)

so in the top10 at least 3 rookies, that's not bad

If Demare is 5th at the Grand Prix de Denain as currently reported, he will be over 200% on the season. That will make eight riders on my team who have at least doubled their points from last year (if you include one zero-point rider with an infinite gain).

Thank you, GP de Denain!

Haedo 1st, Guardini 3rd, Demare 5th, Pelucchi 9th, which amounts into 168 points in a single 1.1 race I didn't even know was raced today. Good stuff!

Argh. Now I'm starting to see where I went wrong in my selections. I've fallen kinda flat the last few weeks, at least I had Boonen though.

Did you know that 40 CQ points is a career high score for Guardini?

I based half my team upon the idea of picking up lots of points from placings in anonymous midweek races.;)
No Haedo for me, but the other two.
Demare looks as if he could end up as one of the deals of the season.
Out through injury since De Panne and 5th, first race back.
Shows his condition is still good.
Depends where they send him after Tro Bro, since there's a bit of a pause coming up in the French calendar.
Luckily, the Italian racing scene is about to pick up impetus, with a number of these one day wonders.
Cue Mr Guardini, Battaglin and co.

Without Boonen I would have a pretty crappy team. Only 12 riders on my team so far are profitable

Most teams have fewer profitable riders than that. And think about it: the top 50 teams all have Boonen, yet you are beating 45 of them. Your team can't be that bad.
