Not awesome. He was a cancer for my team last year, and now he's apparently decided he's a sprinter? Bah.

very nearly made my team again but he missed out because I didn't want too many returners.

Too early to say but he could've been a better bet than Oss.

Aww poor you :p

My team is pretty balanced, I have climbers and sprinters. And I have lots of Saxoboys so they'll hopefully score me many points now they have a chance for themselves.

Thank god Kreder has channeled his inner-cipollini , hes saved me from utter embarrassment. mind u I'm only aiming for too 100 so all is not lost. Even when i pick a puncheur in Kreder he decideds to become a sprinter.

Looking for something from Fabrice Jeandesboz, Maxim Iglinsky, Rafael Valls or Benoit Vaugrenard tomorrow at Tour de Med. Don't know how many of those possibilities are likely.

Haha. The pathetic excuse of a stage race in Calabria is rather lovely for those of us who took a punt on Viviani, yep?

He'll nearly be paid off at the end of Feb if he manages to win.

Show me the finances.

Well my team is sprinter heavy and I'm still doing crap so u should think yourself lucky you still have something to wait forward to.

You have Kreder, Oss, Boeckmans and Farrar who have all got points. Haussler should get some at Algarve, Renshaw was solid ( though his team was hurt at Qatar ). Davis has barely raced, Breschel and Guardini have goals later in the year. Then you had Pozzato who did nothing but he might recover for the Classics.

Thank you for making feel better, you have built my confidence up.:)

Haussler will indeed get points at all those second places he'll collect at Algarve :p

Why wasn't he in Qatar? He didn't defend his precious points jersey there!

The most prestigous points jersey in this great sport and Cav has the cheek to claim he's the best.

yeh viv was risky but I'm glad I took him, I still think he could have a big season, regardless of the olympics.

Is he riding the giro?

I hope he is. GSGirl has sent me a mocking tweet after I loadedly asked her whether she'd picked him or not.

But then again, I'm about the only idiot who didn't pick breschel so I've got no chance unless he decides to have a completely awful year.

The points won't be flowing your way if Saxobank gets the boot and no other teams have cash to pick them up....

Haussler posted on facebook a few days ago that he just completed his first lot of efforts in training for a while. Either he has still been recovering or he has been building a base and is focussing on July.

I think he wanted to do what Gilbert is doing and go back to Europe to acclimatise for the cold ( also shadowboxing ). Also Farrar went to Qatar so Haussler probably wanted to ride elsewhere. Are you also implying someone will beat him in the sprints there???

Also don't you mean the Classics. Hausller is not even doing the TDF this year, he is doing i think the; Classics, Giro???, Olympics and the Vuelta.

I read somewhere that he wouldn't be doing much racing on the road this year as he was focusing on the track worlds and track olympics. I don't know though, but I wouldn't be too confident in him - although he's great when he does race!

Wtf they cancelled Mont Faron.

How are all my precious climbers ever going to earn me points if they cancel all the climbs?

First at Etoile, so Pinot didn't earn me any points and Rolland earned me less points.
No second mountainous stage at Mallorca.
And now they cancelled Mont Faron.

Man, I had Pinot, Rolland, Quintana, Valls, Denifl and Majka in there. How am I going to compensate for all those crappy sprinters everybody picked, if they cancel all the climbs?

This sucks, big time.

I'll be last this week, because Renshaw is the only guy who earned me any points; lots of people have him and he didn't even earn me much.

Oh yeah, there will be climbing in Algarve, but I won't be earning points there either, because all my climbers randomly decided to race crappy French races where the climbs get cancelled, instead of Algarve. Even Poels randomly disappeared from the Algarve startlist, after al ready randomly disappearing from the Tour de Med startlist.

L'ascension du Mont Faron a été fermé en raison de la neige. L'arrivée de la 4e étape du #tourmed sera jugée au sommet du Col de la Garde.

Don't know how hard that climb is, but maybe it's a little consolation for you.
