Porte was a no brainer.

Unfortunately he doesn't make up for the rest of my mob, which coincidently show a lack of brain power when selecting most of them.

dammit, i had porte in my team for so long.. he was too cheap, too good of a deal.

i very much regret this.

Same here . also I fully expected him to become an almost full time domestique.

Well, it is only February. And Sky do have tons of great talent, who are probably building form this race rather than showing off form as Porte seems to be doing. I mean, how many points did Steven Cummings get after Algarve last year?

Still, I suppose Cummings isn't a top 5 in the world TTer like Porte is, which makes Porte a threat to scoop up points in whatever stage race he's in.

Yep, another one here who had Porte for a long old time and then took him out cos he'd be too far down the Sky hierarchy.
Looks like Talansky's gonna get on the board in Algarve though so that's reassuring.

Good day for me. Stage wins from Porte and Greipel. As well as the points they get for being in the lead.

Moser, Nibali, and Velits : a good day especially considering the fact that the double in Oman is almost assured (that's 280 points for GC alone). Hopefully Pinot and Rolland can feature well in the Tour du Haut-Var as my team in Algarve has been pretty disappointing.

Reasonable day with Porte, Velits and Slagter, but now I regret not picking Hardy. I almost did. :\

It was a good day for me and indicative of what COULD come. Velits came 2nd in Oman/ attained the race lead. Ciolek won stage 4 of Algarve with Haussler maybe showing signs that he could be getting better for the Classics. Moser then won the Trofeo Laigueglia ( by attacking as well ), he could have sprinted. The only race i did not get points in was Haut-Var but Clarke still finished 5th ahead of Voeckler and Rojas which is a good sign that his form is either coming or there.

Porte can also hopefully win Algarve tomorrow.

There has to be opportunities for people to take over your 2nd place ( which you can be happy with ).:)

Anton could get you some points at Andalucia, and if you believe the hype Henao will win you the Giro.
