Update: I have been working on some upgrades to the website and before we move forward I need everybody to double-check their team. The way the Excel file is done made it impossible to transfer the data in some easy way and lets just say that it wasnt easy to insert 130 teams and over 4000 riders into new database. (Duplicated values, typos etc)

Anyway, the good news is that right now I should be able to run some awesome stats and display some valuable and interesting data with the need of looking up everything in the excel file.

So please, if you care at all, please check your team and let me know if there are any discrepancies.

Thanks for the work you put into this, but my team is incorrect. It has to be someone else's team.

Only Breschel, Henao, Pinot, Rogers, Lulu Sanchez and Vanendert are correct.

though Blythe was the one who really impressed me (but unlike Offredo i don't have him in my team)
I regret not picking Blythe, i expect him to get at least 500 or so. Fenn shall also have a good year.

I think everyone of us has some regrets, if we were all able to pick the list of 33 biggest breakthroughs of 2012 then i guess we would go for cycling betting instead of CQ game ;)

@ Hugo
Great work with the HP! Everything is fine with my team.

Tour Med Line-Up
EL FARES Julien
HOSTE Leif
VAITKUS Tomas
VEIKKANEN Jussi

Might be good enough for a decent result, but could end up with 0 points, too.

Has anyone found a live-ticker?

Edit:
Oss looking good @ Qatar today! Selig, too!

For those with errors. It turned out that some of the names of the Excel sheets in the Excel file are not matching with real name of the team therefore the alphabetical order got messed up when the sheets got combined into one database because the order wasnt matching. I will update those.

For those who didnt check their team for errors, please do so here: http://cqmanager.net/teams/

doesn't work in my case... I use Chrome

EDIT: sorry, it works! what it is strange is that the scroll bar doesn't go automatically up when you change page.

EDIT2: my team is fine!

I will work on those scroll bars, for now all the data are pulled from another server using iFrames so thats why. It was just a quick solution before I have time to play with the design ... it will be fixed ... sorry about the inconvenience :p

2 points to make.

1
Cav has now got as many points from the TOQ as he did for winning the green jersey at the Tour de France.

Shows both a flaw in the rankings as the green should be probably worth 150, but also shows that the green aint all its made out to be, especially here in england where its seen as equal to the gc, people calling the Tour itself "2 competitions ins 1".

2 with regard to all the stats published at the beginning of this game, I wonder if it would be possible to find out, from last years games, how many of the riders that got picked (I mean all the riders picked, even if only by just 1 poster), turned a profit.

Would it be more than 70%, more than 80? or suprisingly only around the 50 mark.

It sucks for Pozzato/ and me ( his classics season will probably be affected ) and he did next to nothing at Qatar/ San Luis.

My team is fine.

Green = 1 extra stage win makes sense

it's a cherry on top - the real rewards are the stage wins which get you there.

Can we have a cumulative all time ranking please? I don't expect to win for this specific year, but by virtue of currently beating Ingsve comfortably, I consider myself all-time champion.:p

It don't work that way.
Cav got 548 CQ points from his Green Jersey win.
Without his stage results there's no Tour GJ.
The real question is: How many CQ points for the To Q points jersey?;)

Most of the errors has been corrected but I'm sure that some still didnt check their teams. If thats you, please do so here http://cqmanager.net/teams/

More to come .... any special request as per the Teams and Riders sorting out? Right now you can see what teams has each rider by clicking on the riders name. Anything else?

There's question marks next to Andrew Anacona and Rafael Andriato on my team signifying that they might not have a team or something. Anacona rides for Lampre, and Andriato rides for Farnese Vini.

I will go through riders later. :D

Do you want to know who got most matching riders on their team?

The real question is: How many CQ points for the To Q points jersey?;)

Cav got 591 points, 43 more from his 2009 tdf with no green jersey, than his 2011 one.

GC riders get both points for stage finishes and for the overall.

Contador for example got 500 points for winning the Giro but 1198 points from the GIro total or 698 from all the other stuff.

If the green jersey is worth something it should get a higher score in cq than a stage.
Some riders like Thor in 09 give up their chances at stages or at other endeavours in pursuit of the green jersey and this is not reflected in these rankings.

Holy crap! CQmanager, you're my hero today. That is the sweetest feature since the 'click the team name to see the team' thing was added to the spreadsheet. I found as the season went on last year, I would check all the teams around me each week to see who they had, where I might make some gains, etc. This makes it way easier. And interesting to peruse randomly now and then.

There is 17 people who have Winner Anacona Gomez ( with question marks next to his team ). He rides for Lampre.
