I tried to analyze my team and check where I'm strong and where not.

I think that a strength of my team is that really few riders are totally failing, and I've the riders that are a MUST like Boonen or Rogers. Than I've all the best neo-pro: Moser, Kelderman, Durbridge, Demare. I miss two colombians like Henao and mainly Quintana, two big names like Rui Costa and Kreuziger, and Vanmarke...the others from the green team, honestly, I never considered.

These are the numbers or riders from my team divided for ratio:

>200%= 10 (30.3%)
>100%=16 (48.5%)
>50% = 29 (87.9 %)
>25 %= 32 (97.0%)

only a cheap guy (Valls 39) is under 25%

I dont really know what to think:
I have 8 riders in the green team, yet a ridiculous 21 riders in the common picks and currently I am in 39th.
The problems is that my picks over 300 asides from Boonen havent really fired yet, guys like Kessiakoff, Kreuziger, Gesink, Haussler...:(

YEAH FREDRIK! Actually, for the purpose of this game, it's better if he goes to Austria/Poland and gets to load for the Vuelta. If he goes to the Tour he'll be stuck in domestique work, and he will have to magically find his climbing legs again on short notice.

It's time to change the leader :)
Nyssinator will pass me with Rui Costa and Kreuziger

I'm afraid I still resent points that are gained by Rui Costa, after he was effectively given a price discount of 250 points on account of a ban. The idea of not counting seasons during bans was to avoid riders being cheaper than is realistic.

Feel free to interpret this as "B****r, I missed a bargain by not reading the rules carefully enough, and overlooked a rider who I like because I thought I couldn't afford him, and had already submitted my team when I realised it, and couldn't be bothered at the time to recalculate my squad, and now I wish I had, and what's more I'm in danger of losing several places in the table, but I'll disguise it as righteous indignation."

I see your point, and I had many doubts as to what Rui Costa's value should be. 413 or 664. In the end I decided to follow my own rules and not make an exception even though 664 probably would have been more "realistic".

I know the time for rules discussion is the end of the season, and I agree completely with your interpretation of the rules we set down, but perhaps exceptional circumstances such as those with Costa could be accounted for in the future.

Something along the lines of:
A rider returning from a suspension will have a value equivalent to that of his last full season before his suspension. Hence if a rider was banned for two years on July 5th 2009 his last full season would be the 2008 season, and his value would therefore be that of 2008. However, if in exceptional circumstances this rider's 2009 score exceeds his 2008 score, then his value would be that of 2009.
