Also for those of you with access to the old website. (For my own entertainment) I have made first update to the website. Rankings, Top Picks and few other pages were udpated. No guarentees any of the info is correct. Errors may accur. Good luck.

CQM Out!

Whoa awesome, that was a really fun site to play around in and I'm glad you're updating it.

Hey La Flo, we're trading places, 2 updates ago I was 23 and now I'm 57!

Looks like a long, dry road ahead for my team. 4 guys in the chasing group in MSR and they all come in from 27-37th. Geraint Thomas takes out Tyler Farrar. Michael Matthews pulls out of Catalunya, wonderfully tailored to hilly sprinters, because he spills hot tea on himself. Did somebody put a hex on me because of my good fortune last year? Rebellin, save me in the Coppi e Bartali!

that's a surprise. not that I looked at every team but from what I saw I had you and mcmountain down as favourites, and that's not because you came 1 2 last year though that's no coincidence.

still your deficit to skibby (who I also thought had a very strong team, is still well within your winning margin from last year.

I can't see anything. The last update I see is from June 2012. Do I need to login to see the new update? If that is the case I think someone changed my login details.

Update #10: Upheaval in the rankings

Week 10 sees a lot of upheaval throughout the ranks as Tirreno-Adriatico and Milano-

Sanremo provides a lot of action.

With 545 points just from Cancellara, Ciolek and Stannard as well as points from

Cavendish and Haussler, Dim is this week's top scorer with an incredible 698 points

total - more than double the average of 291 points. The Hitch takes second with

points from Cancellara, Ciolek and a bunch of others including Taaramäe, Colbrelli

and Cobo.

This week's top scorers:

1. Dim - 698
2. The Hich - 666
3. SteelyDan - 605
4. Gotland - 598
5. chinaboy - 591

SteelyDan, 3rd on this week's top scorers list, just edges the top scorer Dim as well

as chinaboy for 1st place on this week's high jumpers list as he moves up 46 places.

This week's high jumpers:

1. SteelyDan +46
2. Dim +45
2. chinaboy +45
4. theyoungest +38
5. Gotland +36

Looking at the top 2 spots in the top 10, nothing has changed as Skibby the bush

kangaroo still leads with nordicICE1024 in 2nd. But then the similarity with last

week ends. A total of 5 new teams enter the top 10, most notably The Hitch who moves

from 26th to 4th and Dim who jumps from 54th to 9th.

AAC1983, who is the only one who has been in top 10 for every single week, now finds

that his spree has ended as he drops 8 places from 10th to 18th. Tigerion is one of

this week's big losers as he drops out of the top 10 to find himself now lying in

30th place.

Top 10:

1. (-) Skibby the bush kangaroo - 2734
2. (-) nordicICE1024 - 2563
3. (+1) bicing - 2521
4. (+22) The Hitch - 2439
5. (+6) sublimit - 2438
6. (-3) Geraint Too Fast - 2427
7. (+11) ironted - 2409
8. (+11) King Of The Worlds - 2350
9. (+46) Dim - 2327
10. (-5) *Falze* - 2322

I've just had a lot worse luck than I did last year to this point; I don't underestimate that in this game. Examples:

- Rohan Dennis poised to pick up some points at the TDU goes out and is just getting into the season at T-A

- Michael Matthews, through a combination of bad luck and Greenedge stupidity, did not ride TDU and is out of Catalunya and has yet to be given his own chances

- Matteo Trentin, solid classics guy breaks his wrist in Omloop and misses the whole classics season

- Then there are guys like Anacona and Hepburn who haven't even raced yet, guys like Appollonio, Aru, Dombrowski and Pinot who haven't really ridden for themselves... and a worryingly long list of other guys like Dekker, Sicard, Guardini, Battaglin, Nuyens and Breschel who just might not be as good as I thought.

Hope springs eternal:

Dwars Door Vlaanderen - Van Keirsbulck, Appollonio, Von Hoff, Rojas, Hepburn(!), Jungels, Thomas

Coppi e Bartali - Battaglin, Barbin, Rebellin

E3 - Van Keirsbulck, Gilbert, Hushovd, Thomas, Appollonio, Nuyens, Cattaneo (much rather he was in CeB), Pozzato, Rojas, Breschel

G-W - same plus Farrar

I think a lot of people are in the Matthews boat. I saw though that his main aim for the season is the Giro where the team will apparently back him up so i guess thats why hes not getting opportunities atm.

Not really, IMO. The team won't back him before Goss drops out. Or at least, they implied as much when they said that the "third week" would be for Matthews.

Does anyone know why Winner Anacona hasn't raced yet this season?
He was one of the first guys I picked, and I am starting to get a bit worried:confused:
On a more positive note, Ratto finally showed form yesterday. If he can have a separate race programme than Sagan he should be a good pick!

Annacona crashed/ was injured late last year and will make a delayed start to the start. His main goal will be the Vuelta.
I had him in my team initially but removed him once I heard the news.

Quite surprised to gain 15 places this week, not bad with Cancellara and Stannard but could've been a lot better had Gilbert and Pozzato scored a little more heavily. My squad's pretty classics-heavy so hopefully won't still be nowhere come end of April. Chaves Vanmarcke and Matthews not looking so good so far. Also Nuyens but he's cheap enough to hopefully not make a huge difference.

Well, at least he can put his GT experience and recovery abilities to good use.

That Matthews interview was one of the most bizarre things. Targetting a few hilly stages in the 3rd week instead of the races he has actually shown he is competitive in. Leaving him out of the TDU squad was an odd one too. I wonder if he's regretting the move to Orica...
