Gilbert, Breschel, Nuyens and Aru are amongst the picks I might regret, but you never know with Gilbert...

Small signs of life, with the (albeit popular) Thomas getting 4th and not total disasters (read: minor points) from Rojas, Van Keirsbulck. Rebellin holds 4th in CeB but is a terrible TTer (although those behind him might be just as bad) and Pinot holds 9th in Catalunya. Nothing to write home about, but at least some anchoring in points.

It was a great race to watch today regardless.

He will probably need a buffer for later. He made 412 points in the Tour and Olympics last year. He will at best make 150 points in the Giro (maybe 200), but more likely under 100 points.

I think I scored 510-520 this week. That sounds good but it's probably going to be about average. Loads of points out there between Dwars, E3, Gent, CI, Catalunya, Bartali, and even Taiwan. Wouldn't be surprised if someone got over 1000 this week.

Bardet has made a nice start to his season. 176 vs 11 points(I think) this time last year.

830 for the week I think. Just wish I'd had Bardet for Rujano (wasn't a straight consideration, but I did try to fit Bardet in, Rujano was a bit of a nailed on choice that I now regret). Vanmarcke looks like an expensive mistake. Not sure where Nuyens is going to get his points without the classics.
