Update #4: Kazistuta states his case, as Lamme Frans leaps forward
If skidmark has posted the updates covering the 'prologue' to the season, I am taking on these next two transitional/transfer stages. I'll be followed by Geraint Too Fast as he carries us through into March, then search takes over until the Ronde.
Hugo Koblet will post the updates for Pais Vasco, P-R, the Ardennes and Romandie. 2011 champion insgve will be at the helm for the Giro and Scandinavian races in May and TeoSheva in June for the Dauphine and Suisse (from where he hopes to be able to report from the roadside).
EvanIsTheBest hopes to be available for the Tour. Geraint comes back and this time gets some WT action in a three week stint before the Vuelta. The Spanish GT will be covered by shalgo, with The Hitch stepping in for the World Champs and Giro di Lombardia. The final updates will be done by Hugo, skidmark and perhaps myself with Hugo to crown the 2014 Champion.
As may have been anticipated not many points scored this week and indeed no rider selected more the 7 times in the game scored over 10 points this week. Kazisuta makes a move into the top 10 with a combined 53 points from Finetto (48) and R. Feillu (5). ironsscally also with Finetto, this time paired with 5 points from Bongiorno and 6 from Polanc to be this week's top scorer and in doing so moves off the bottom of the table.

Also worthy of note this week was the Cyclo-Cross World Championships, but the performance of Van der Haar gave little indication of his likely point scoring for his 5 teams, as he looks to do a full(ish) road season for Giant Shimano development team. However there are 36 teams that will be feeling reassured that they have a very special talent on their team.
