Hopefully Voeckler and Gallopin will do well in the hilly classics. Two not very common picks who could do well here. Gallopin was looking kind off good in the cobbled classics, considering he's more suited to hilly classics and the fact he crashed pretty hard in RVV, I have some hopes for him. Hopefully Voeckler has finally found some shape after the horrible start of his season due to injury.

Brabantse Pijl
VOECKLER Thomas
VAN DEN BROECK Jurgen
VAN POPPEL Danny
GERDEMANN Linus

AGR
MOSER Moreno
VILLELLA Davide
HESJEDAL Ryder
WACKERMANN Luca
GALLOPIN Tony
VAN DEN BROECK Jurgen

Amstel Gold Race

GILBERT Philippe
HESJEDAL Ryder
NUYENS Nick
VAN DEN BROECK Jurgen
VANENDERT Jelle

I know some teams have Gilbert+Vanendert combo, that's already brutal.

Someone with Gilbert+Vanendert+Gerrans or Kwiat?

That would be an abuse.

I think we are 16 with the Gilbert/Vanendert combo. Skibby will probably take the honors this week as he has Matthews as well:eek:
Quick count gives me a score of 401 points just for today, so expect to climb a bit this week;)

Why did I opt for Voeckler, and leaving out a rider like Gerrans. UGGHH

Vanendert + Gilbert is a slight consolation though. Alberto a better consolation, but will not get me further than a top 30 anyway in the best case scenario now.

Meh, Voeckler was never goin to win AGR anyway, but he did what he should do, to try and avoid a sprint on the Cauberg though. At least he looked kind off back in shape.

I bet without the crash before TDU he would've done well in TDU and PN and have been a decent pick. But yeah, Gerrans would have been a better pick.

At least you have Gilbert and Contador, that should be plenty consolation!

Not talking about Tommy V for AGR specifically, just overall. But who knows, he might end up catching us all by surprise by being in yellow for 16 days during the Tour.

Update #15: Skibby gets out of the bush

The cobbled classics have been left behind and the Ardennes classics are upon us and it's time for a new group of riders to shine. Does that mean that it's time for a new group of teams to dominate the CQ Rankings Manager Game as well?

If this week's update is to tell us anything, it's that we can't tell at all yet!

At the top of This Week's Top Scorers list, we find Skibby the bush kangaroo, who earns 648 points, mainly from Gilbert, Matthews and Vanendert. That's only 5 points more than second placed Reno who has the same three riders and only needed one more finisher in Amstel Gold Race to tie Skibby for first place.
Our leader, Pentacycle, finds a way into the top 5 as well, mainly because of points from Gilbert and Vanendert.

This Week's Top Scorers

1. Skibby the bush kangaroo - 648
2. Reno - 643
3. DJ Sprtsch - 627
4. HelgeBlendet - 589
5. Pentacycle - 560

This Week's High Jumpers list is dominated by some of the same names we found on This Week's Top Scorers list. Moving up 39 places, HelgeBlendet edges out Skibby the bush kangaroo, who jumps 37 places, for first place, while DJ Sprtsch has to settle for third, jumping 35 places. In fourth place we find a former winner. ingsve moves up 34 places, but there's still some work to do if he wants to become the first two time winner, as he's still only in 87th place overall.

This Week's High Jumpers

1. HelgeBlendet +39
2. Skibby the bush kangaroo +37
3. DJ Sprtsch + 35
4. ingsve +34
5. ----AG---- +31
5. Panda Claws +31

In the overall top 10, Pentacycle still leads the pack as he extends his lead over freshman by 77 points and now has a 264 points advantage. Martin jumps into third place, while EvansIsTheBest loses a little ground, dropping two places down to 6th. That's nothing, however, compared to Oliveira who collapses completely this week, scoring only 40 points and in the proces drops from 8th to 15th.

The only new team in the top 10 this week is Grimm who jumps from 13th to 7th, but beware, because just outside the top 10, three teams are pushing hard. Reno jumps from 40th to 11th, lenissart from 17th to 12th and knallertjeblaf from 31st to 13th.

Top 10

1. (-) Pentacycle - 5213
2. (-) freshman - 4949
3. (+3) Martin - 4857
4. (-1) rywann - 4744
5. (-) Geraint Too Fast - 4617
6. (-2) EvansIsTheBest - 4607
7. (+6) Grimm - 4554
8. (+2) Ruvu75 - 4502
9. (-2) SteelyDan - 4446
10. (-1) MCardinalR - 4431
