Update #12: Points galore can't topple the leader
As expected, week #12 of the 2014 cq ranking game ended in an overflow of points, nearly 100 participants scored 500 or more - but was this enough for anyone to overthrow the leader Geraint Too Fast? The answer is "no - it wasn't", another solid week for him was enough to maintain the top of the ranking, with upcoming Pentacycle and SteelyDan following closely.
With the overload of cycling races the points came from various sources, some gained them in Spain, where Contador could increase his score again, others in Italy from young Kennaugh or in Belgium and France, where John Degenkolb, Peter Sagan and Jicé Peraud gained glory
So did anyone have all of them? No, of course not, but EvansIsTheBest came close, Contador, Degenkolb and Kennaugh maed him score 964 points which was enough to become this week's top point scorer. Also Somar13, despite having a pool of only 29 riders, and Trudgin scored more than 900 points. This weeks Top are rounded out by The_Hitch and Team_Roubaix.
It also were Somar13 and Trudgin who thereby became this week's high movers, followed by kiilike, Netserk and Team Roubaix.

Point wise week #13 of the cq ranking game is likely to be much calmer, but with the Driedaagse de Panne and especially the Ronde van Vlaanderen coming up this cannot be said about the kind of racing we can expect - and those with the cobbles classics contenders in their teams will keep their fingers crossed for their guys to deliver.
