Submitted my team... The last few years I've spent a lot of time optimizing the team just to end up with a team that could've been better. This year, I skimmed over CQRanking once and compiled just one team from my longlist of 116 riders. I won't end up amongst the top this year, but it's a fun team to follow all year round (I hope).

Hey guys, whew! Woke up this morning (in North America was just an hour ago) and had over 25 new entries to process! We might be able to match last year's number of teams. At any rate, a couple of things:

1. I'm going to do my best to make the spreadsheet available before I go to sleep tonight - deadline is 5pm my time I believe, if I get things together this evening, I should be able to have it up by midnight my time (which would be 7am CET) for everyone to look at. No promises, but it's a goal. After midnight CET of course, you can feel safe to show your teams in the thread. I will not have the rider popularity tabs filled in today, nor did I set up the formulas that constructed the popularity tables last year, so I'm hoping maybe someone can volunteer to do that work as I'm pretty burnt out on data entry (or two people can tag team it). We can work that out in a day or so, but keep it in mind.

2. Don't forget that the deadline for the great Youth CQ Game is today as well, at 9pm CET. Check out that thread here.

Skidmark. Did you get my team. Cant remember if i sent it or not. Did it today.

I have it in my inbox, haven't confirmed it yet - I'm about to take a break. The spreadsheet is getting really glitchy with making new sheets for teams that haven't participated before, so I'm just going to wait a few hours until the deadline and put new guys in already existing sheets for non-returning players. This will save me headaches. Anyway, I have you, kabete and PunchingRouleur on the 'new entry' list that I haven't messaged back to confirm yet.

Short version is, yep I've got it.

I had been putting off making a team since I thought I had plenty of time and as the days went the deadline crept closer. I finally managed to sit down and make a team with merely hours to go. Hopefully it won't suck too bad but I'm sure I've missed a few obvious choices. I know one rider I missed already.

So my prediction this year is that I'll be somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Hopefully mine has been submitted correctly and in time. Either way, thanks a lot for doing this skidmark

As a newbie, will definitely be making a long list through the coming season. It's taken ages based on my 'knowledge' and poring through the various cycling stat websites. Great fun though:)

400-662 - 8
100-400 - 12
0 - 100 - 13

7 - GBR
3 - ITA, COL, USA, BEL
2 - AUS, FRA, NED
1 - CZE, SPA, ERI, SUI, GER, SLO, LUX,

Deadline getting closer...

Anybody who changed a spot or two due to Yellow Fluo's new sponsor and signings?

Yes, I like to tease :p

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock ... just few minutes left

I didnt change anything after I submitted my team, even after I saw that Aussie young sprinter to win those crits I left him out ... so I left Fatty out on purpose

At first I thought I would include Sagsmeister, but there have just been too many expensive picks I have wanted in my team for that to happen. Fatty was certain though.

Don't think I even considered Yellow Fluo riders.

Anyway, just sent in my team. Didn't do a single thing until yesterday and pretty much spent most of today doing the team.

As always I feel very good about every one of the riders in my team.
In about 10 minutes when a few have posted theirs I will be kicking myself for missing some riders.

And in about 4 months ill look back at my team and think - what the **** was I thinking there:cool:

Wow, I got few of those and took Zabel out and Goss out at the last minute. Pretty much traded Goss for Hoogerland and since Zabel was on my team every year I gave up on him

Even though I have him too, I don't think EBH will be a good/great pick.
