I think you only need one additional post (so that your post count is at least 10).Riverside said:ok... team is ready - I think as a newbie on forum I can't send PM... is there any other possibility to send team before deadline?
Thanks in advance

Gigs_98 said:I have to say, this was a weird year. I had a really hard time finding relatively expansive picks in the 300-500 points area while there are seemingly endless relatively cheap picks in the region of around 50 points who I can't all include because otherwise I'd end up with a team worth around 3000 points. In the last two years I always had many expansive picks when I started building my team and then had to search for some nonames with few points just to get 33 riders. Man I'm nervous. Can't wait for January 4th.![]()
My team:
>500: 4
300-500: 3
200-300: 8
100-200: 6
<100: 12
Thanks I was having the same problemNetserk said:I think you only need one additional post (so that your post count is at least 10).Riverside said:ok... team is ready - I think as a newbie on forum I can't send PM... is there any other possibility to send team before deadline?

It's a valid strategy. There are some decent options for a top-heavy approach this year.armchairclimber said:I decided to try a risky strategy this year with
3 riders over 1000 points
2 riders 500 - 1000
7 riders 100 - 500
14 riders 0- 100
7 zeros (to heroes ... hopefully)
Not sure why I thought this was a good idea but, as I haven't really done terribly well in my first two attempts, I'm looking for at least some improvement ... and at the very least, some BIG weeks. If the big hitters stay injury free, I'll do fine.
Yeah, I think there are at least 4 decent picks worth more than 1000 points. Actually I'd be surprised if the majority of the players hasn't picked at least one of them.Squire said:It's a valid strategy. Finally I ended up with 33 riders for a value of 7498.
Points range breakdown:
0-100 14
101-200 8
201-500 7
501-1000 3
1000+ 1
15 Nationalities represented, with Italy the most with 7 riders.
26 from World Tour and 7 from Pro Conti from 18 different teams
Bit of a mix of young riders and a few guys looking to regain former glories. Taken a few gambles and a few picks more with heart than head, but all in all failry pleased....until I see everyone elses and realise I have missed someone obvious.
