Same here. Van Uden, Van Eetvelt. Last year's team can't stop winning.

Let's see if my season can get going at Besseges

Vauquelin
Thomas
Gachignard
Segaert
Laurance

Mainly hoping the first two can continue picking up points in the early French calendar, before the WT begins.
And Waerenskjold. At this rate, anyone with Fisher-Black, Wright, Ewan, Haig, Mikhels, Moscon is guaranteed a good season, while Hugo Page will probably win Roubaix.

Much more positively, Laurance looks very impressive(!), and two podiums in two race days for Vauquelin. For the small Kevin cohort in this game, quite important I think that he builds a decent foundation in February, before heading into the unknown country of WT races for the next few months?

77th place and increasing gap is not ideal, but not pushing panic button yet. got growing concerns about Covi, Stewart injury (obviously) but otherwise it is not that bad atm...

from this week rare picks perspective Matthews in top10 but stage 4 might be a killer and Cosnefroy got his historically best career TT results at Alès, so lets see...

More (potential?) name changing! This time not involving a Dane.

(I think basically 'Chih Hao' is the more accurate transliteration - or whatever the technical term is - of his name. Maybe at some point 'Sergio' will be dropped entirely)

I thought it was Henao before I clicked on the link.

Nerv-racking to mainly have GC hopes in a week of stage races. There are some riders I have who have stayed in contention for GC but until the last stage is over you don't know if you're gonna score anything at all or not. Would be good for the nerves to have a few more sprinters in the team.

Don´t stress yourself that much.. ;)
These stage points in these 2.1 races really doesn´t matter that much. For example van Uden, who finished in the last four days in the top 5, just received 42 points for the whole week until now. This is less than an eight place at the Cadel Evans race.

Sprinters generally dissapoint in this game, most points are in GC...

Milesi is more than a TT specialist. He's quite explosive, he won on Mont Saint Aubert (2km @ 5,6%) in front of Fredheim, Segaert, Hagenes in 2022.
Moreover, being a late starter to the sport he might have more upside than other riders his age.

That being said, I haven't selected him because a) he tends to crash a little too much and b) I'm not sure Movistar is the right team to develop him properly, unless he turns out being more of a puncheur than a TTer.

I did select him but he's a risky pick. He has to do well in the hilly races to score a lot of points.
Might come handy in the Autumn Italian Races.

Ya, Lecerf has a good shot at top 20 if not even top 10 in AlUla Tour. Vlasov will likely get a good finish in Valencia and then there is Etoille Besseges where Marcus Hoelgaard, Alec Segaert and possibly Andreas Leknesund can reach the top 20 depending on how stage 4 goes and then depending on how everyone is at TTing at this stage of the year. But those 3 are a bit more uncertain but at least in range with good performances.

He'll ride the UAE Tour and then TA. Then try some Belgian classics for the first time in his career.
He's a little behind form-wise because after the Ineos deal fell through, he was left with no team / coaches despite still having a valid contact with DSM. Didn't start training properly until he signed with Movistar.

Hopefully today's crash will not hinder his prep now but as I said he tends to crash a little too much for my liking.

in another words he is bust((

@skidmark You probably didn't see the comment I did a few days ago since I missed tagging you in it. Michael Valgren has a new name on CQrankings. Instead of VALGREN HUNDAHL (ANDERSEN) Michael he is now only VALGREN HUNDAHL Michael so his points are not showing in the results table.

It impacts the overall standing in that DJ Sprtsch is actually 4th ahead of repre because of the 5 points that Valgren scored.
Sorry, I was out of commission most of the week - normally I will be more attentive. I'll fix and adjust, thank you for pointing it out.
