The prophecy has been fulfilled: https://forum.cyclingnews.com/threads/the-2024-cq-ranking-manager-thread.39370/page-71#post-3023835Honoré into profit!
After this week you almost catched me, but for now only nearby..It's a really tight battle between 2nd and 5th. Houdini and myself probably have an edge for the rest of the Vuelta because of Tiberi. Then it's going to come down to Rodriguez vs Van Eetvelt. The latter is probably in better form but the former is a lot more experienced over three weeks and almost peerless when it comes to grinding his way up a GC even when the legs aren't great.
This has also been my reaction, when I checked the final GC and the stage 4 result of of the Deutschland Tour. It´s like he doesn´t want to score for us and lost the 18 second to the main peloton at the last stage (which would have meant 5th overall in the end) on purpose.LOL, but for the totally opposite reason. Theft continues.
Hayter has been approaching peak unseriousness this season but I would still rather have him than Uijtedebroeks right now.LOL, but for the totally opposite reason. Theft continues.
Yeah, would sign that! Can we just end the Renewi Tour now, please?
Hope you feel better. Tacos always help.Hey folks, so I have had the misfortune to be quite sick for the last 5 days, still got splitting headaches and hard to look at screens. Obviously those with access to the helpful website are up to date on standings, but I'll do two written updates to catch up next week.
Ineos with a collective disappearing act in the GC on the last stage that would make Ethan Hayter proud. No Sheffield GC points for me as a result but at least I'll get some Hagenes points finally. So today an important day at the Renewi Tour for this game with a lot of popular picks high in the rankings before the last and decisive stage..
Decent haul in Belgium today.
It was the worst performances by Danish riders in that race since 2014, where Breschel was 4th in Geraardsbergen, but only finished 32nd overall.
I didn't say it was perfect, just that it was decent.
A damn shame Valgren couldn't stay away after his attack.
But how was it decent? One rider could easily have scored more than that, I assume.
Well, at least Turner didn´t disappoint. Another rider into profit.Ineos with a collective disappearing act in the GC on the last stage that would make Ethan Hayter proud. No Sheffield GC points for me as a result but at least I'll get some Hagenes points finally.
You really think that many people are going for the Philipsen/Hirschi combo ?It's starting to sink in how much worse the game is going to be when everyone has 40% of their budget tied up by the same two riders...
