Last year I managed to finish 4th with a team with all riders under 500 points. This year I went with a totally different strategy. 3 riders over 1000 points , another 3 guys between 200-500 and all other under 200 !

Curious who the most popular 1000+ rider will be and if the 3 I have will be the top 3 popular in this category.

A lot of under 100 points good picks this year in my opinion. Hope I did not miss any info about this low points riders like an injury that will affect them further or something like that.

Ya, that sounds like what I was suspecting .In the 500+ cost bracket there are many candidates but no real clear no brainer choices so it will come down to personal opinions and preferences which will spread everyone out to lots of different picks.

Wait - you can choose riders who scored more than 500 points last year?

Of course you can. Technically you can pick Pogacar and Vingegaard, then you'll just have to pick a bunch of really cheap picks, and zero pointers, for the rest of you riders...

But this is the first time that you're not able to pick both of the top two in the CQ rankings.

I think the most expensive two-rider combo you can make - if you have those kind of desires - is Pogacar+Hirschi.
Then... you'll have a grand total of 31 points left.

And as our forum phropet will tell you (possibly repeatedly and across multiple online platforms), they go together like cheese and wine.

Watching this thread for more of Skidmark's trademark sneak peeks in what riders were picked
Unfortunately today is my busiest work day of the week and reveal deadline is 5pm for me, so I won't be able to drop too many sneak peeks.

I am about halfway through the popularity rankings and I will say that there are about 6-8 riders who are on 35+ teams (out of about 45 I've done), so it looks like there is some consolidation among the most popular riders. And one expensive rider that has proved to be quite a bit more popular than the rest.

The suspense is killing me, I can't take it any longer.

These are my nationalities:

FRA 9
BEL 8
GBR 5
NED 4
DEN 3
ESP 1
EST 1
GER 1
ITA 1

Very peculiar to have so little Italians and Spaniards, considering there are quite a lot of races there. Didn't think about it that way when I made the list. Let's see if this will bite me in the *ss.

Hi guys! It's my first time ever participating in this game.

+ 1000: 2
1000-500: 1
500-400: 2
400-200: 4
200-100: 9
100-50: 4
50-01: 7
0: 4

Average age is 24,45. Oldest two are from 1991, the youngest three were born in 2006.

I have a selection of, yes indeed, 33 riders with a total of 7499 CQ points. I kid you not.
