I don't have Ayuso or Ganna so I'll probably not get a high weekly placing anyway but I do feel like I'm having a pretty good week with Brennan, Tulett, Casper Pedersen, Simmons and even Ewan.

Now if Magnier could top it off tomorrow, that'd be nice!

The Ayuso train has been fun to ride , but maybe some signs that the wheels are coming off like last year?

Currently second, but will be happy to be in the top 20 after the Giro. Next couple of months could be all about WVA, then there's the Vingo teams...

Update #10: Pantani4ever Climbs to the Top of the Mountain

With a classic WT stage race in Catalunya and no fewer than 3 WT-level cobbled classics in Belgium, it was bound to be a big week for some teams. Turns out, it was a big week for many of the same teams who have already been having big weeks recently!

I had remarked last week on Pantani4ever's run over the prior 4 weeks, with 3 2nd place finishes and 1 6th place finish in that time. Well, the team one-upped that this week, having a 5th consecutive great week and reaching the highest rung on the ladder with a huge 959 point week! The usual suspects of the last two weeks - namely, Juan Ayuso (282 points, 11 teams) and Filippo Ganna (112, 25) - were still pumping away, but P4f also saw big returns from Ben Tulett (139, 56) and Madis Mihkels (129, 18). oliveira ends up a mere 11 points back in 2nd place, as one of the two teams with Primoz Roglic (392), one of the 33 with Matt Brennan (112), and also Ayuso. postmanhat also cracks 900 with help from Ayuso/Ganna/Brennan/Tulett.

It's an almost completely different top 5 here, with ray10 taking top spot after moving up 24 spots thanks to Ayuso but also Lennert Van Eetvelt (105, 8) and Lenny Martinez (120, 4). Senderos is right behind, moving up 23 on the backs of Brennan/Mihkels/Ganna/Tulett, and Amis Velo takes third as the other Roglic holder.

A lot of movement here - P4e took over top spot in this ranking last week, and then piled on 45 points this week to move up by over 50. search and postmanhat scored 26 and 30 this week to move into 3rd and 4th overall respectively, while adamski101's 8 points draw them into a tie for 5th.

Changes all around here! Pantani4ever completes an impressive 5-week ascent, divesting Jakob747 of the top spot by winning the week, but also with a bad week for Jakob, as their team now falls more than 500 points back. postmanhat moves up to 2nd and search moves up to 3rd. Lower down, DJW is the only entrant into the top 10, at the expense of marksi.

This week there's Dwars Door Vlaanderen on Wednesday, the 1.1 Adelie Vitre Friday, the 1.PS GP Miguel Indurain Saturday, and then of course Holy Week starts with the Ronde on Sunday.

That's why the Vines and Galls of the world were so cheap though, they've done this their whole careers (so far)
I agree here on Vine. But not for Gall. Gall finished every stage race, where he had a Top 10 stage result also in the Top 15 in the GC in 2023 and 2024. Only exception had been the vuelta 2024, where he had to work for O´Connor, although he looked sometimes better than him during the race. So for Gall it´s really something, that started this year, which makes it frustrating for his owners until now..

The 'something that started this year' is him not having to deal with echelons a single time in 2023 or 2024, and then three times in a row now in UAE, Paris-Nice and Catalunya. Not sure how much you can really attribute that to bad luck when everyone knows he's useless on the flat and the former two are both well known for wind.
