Really encouraging signs by all four of C-Rod, Widar, DFM and Poole (although not quite as many points as it could have been), and depending on what the UCI decides re: Murcia also some decent points for Mohoric and Cosnefroy. Nobody in Almeria tomorrow (don't understand why Flanders are starting without a sprinter when Crabbe starts next door in Ruta del Sol three days after), so all that's left to play for for me this week is C-Rod defending his GC and potential Lamperti stage points. Assuming that goes okay, it's been a satisfactory week.

August performance was very good today. Finished 6th on the stage, but was probably the 3rd strongest guy in the race. Good to see.

CRod and Widar off to a good start is just nice to see as well.

Meehan decent. Nickle-and-diming himself to some points so far.

Pescador didnt get much of a break after Oman. Adding 5 more points to his profit.

Bit of a slow grind atm. Rest of Feb and March will tell a bit more.

Well, at least Honoré was nice enough to get back into the minor GC points in Oman, after he dropped out of the top-10...

And next week, I'll have some guys in the UAE Tour, so if they could just... finish.

So a few points from Widar, Lamperti, Cosnefroy this weekend... and agood start to Riccitello's season.

What happened to Poole? One minute he's in the front group, next minute he's several minutes down.

Seems like CQranking hasn't published any GC points for Murcia yet at least. I'm guessing they don't know how to handle it so they might wait to see how the UCI treats it. A compromise for their own site might be to just give the stage the points equivalent to a 1.1 race instead of a 2.1 GC.

That isn’t what they did two years ago with Ruta del Sol.

Then again CQ completely ignored the precedent they had set for themselves after stage 19 of the 2019 Tour when deciding what to do with stage 11 of last year’s Vuelta, so I wouldn’t rule anything out.

Ya, based on that they might just not give any GC points at all. The reason I suggested the 1.1 results is because Murcia has been a 1.1 race the past 5 years.

I really don't think they will re-classify the race on their own initiative. Either they give normal GC points if that's what the UCI does, or they do the Andalucia stage-only thing.

In any case, it luckily doesn't seem like the results will be too relevant for this game.
