Much less so about Vlasov, who's shown some good form, but needs better results. Could just end up being a superdom otherwise?
It's not like he's had any bad results so far this season. 7th overall in both stage races he has started in.

The thing that has looked encouraging for me about Vlasov in terms of this game is that he seems genuinely interested in making results even if it's just in the top 10 of which he has 9 already this season. He's been sprinting for places whenever he can and take bonus seconds when possible etc. Even in Valenciana on stage 4 when he had 2 team mates up the road in Evenepoel and Pellizzari he could have just taken it easy and saved energy for the next day but he still held on for 7th and a top 10 overall himself.

I have a feeling with both Vlasov and Martinez that they want to stamp their mark on the team leaders that they still exists and can be counted on even with the advent of Evenepoel.

Paris-Nice. Last year's team would have looked really promising. This year's, not so much.

Zingle
Chamberlain
Lamperti
Ballerstedt
Thornley

With Poole out, at least it would appear that Picnic are supporting the young Juan Martinez for GC, which might yield a few points.

T-A might be better depending upon who joins Pellizzari, Kron and Del Grosso.

Grisel won the Tour des 100 Communes yesterday just like Brennan last year so I expect him to have the same kind of breakthrough. At the very least it should help convince Lotto to keep Kockelmann working for him and considering I have only the Frenchman on my team you can imagine how heartbroken I am about that.

Let's see what two WT stage races in a week can bring me. (Too bad there are no points for holding the KoM jersey after stage 1 of a week-long stage race.)

Paris-Nice:
Asgreen
Blume
Kragh
C. Pedersen

Tirreno-Adriatico:
Changizi
Foldager
Kron
Lund
Søjberg
Valgren

Time for my dynamic Danish Decathlon duo to show their worth!
I mean... Lund has already sort of shown his worth, and I don't really know how much of a dynamic duo they are; they have never raced as teammates before.
I would like the rest to do... decently as well.

And Samu is breathing down my neck.

It wasn't the greatest week, especially not with AWP and Van Eetvelt crashing badly, but at least Lamperti ensured it ended on a high and I'm actually gaining some ground again. The primary interests for the upcoming week are getting good points out of Paris-Nice with mainly Gaudu, Vlasov and DFM (and also C-Rod, but he doesn't matter as much to my hopes), and hoping Tirreno doesn't go too well for Tiberi and Pellizzari.
