While in this thread we keep naming and "shaming" riders who haven't won yet this year, there are also plenty who don't even get any top tens at all. Here's a list of the number of riders per PT team that haven't got a single top ten yet this year (excluding stagiaires). Etixx has the most wins this year, and they're the best in this list too. Sabatini is the only one on Etixx who hasn't got a top ten yet, though he got close on the final stage of the Giro (12th).

1 - Etixx - Quick Step
2 - Team Katusha
3 - IAM Cycling, Team Sky, Orica - GreenEDGE
4 - BMC Racing Team, Lampre - Merida
5 - Lotto - Soudal, Movistar Team
6 - Ag2r La Mondiale, FDJ, Team Cannondale - Garmin
7 - Astana Pro Team, Team LottoNL - Jumbo
8 - Tinkoff - Saxo
9 - Trek Factory Racing
10 - Team Giant - Alpecin

Yeah, but if Zanotti or Planckaert races Tour of Hainan or something like that and Sbaragli doesn't I can't see him winning this.

I think there's a good chance Marcato or Bookwalter take this now.

Sbaragli will ride Vuelta though

Wow. Of course! It's a big gamble - he might win a stage given how few big sprinters look to be starting. I only spot Pelucchi, Boeckmans, Mezgec, and Bouhanni. If Bouhanni has a bad day....

On the other hand, MTN may well work for Farrar or someone like that.

But if Kittel starts, forget about it.

But racing the "Tour of Something Like That" is definitely risking disqualification, so Sbaragli is definitely still in with a chance.

Bookwalter made great advances this week and has the ideal characteristics to take the lead after the US Pro Challenge (i.e. good at pretty much everything, but not great at anything).

I can't get the hang of this prophecy lark

Also, the only guys who seem to be great at anything in this race are TTers and are in the same team as Bookwalter.

Remarkable. Poor guy. Wonder what the record for longest streak from turning pro is.

Awtch, that's gotta be frustrating. At least someone like Planckaert has won the 1.2 Kattekoers this year and a stage in the Tryptique back in 2009.
