There were a few guys (or maybe jsut one) who really tried to convince peple he was good enough to get a WT contract and at least one with a ProTeam for this season, and that it would have been easy for him if he had been European. I don't know enough about him to know what his potential might be, but all of his top 10s has come against lesser stacked fields in the Tour of Antalya and the Tour of Rwanda, so he hasn't excactly set the cycling world on fire just yet.

Right now Hofstetter seems to be very reliable, and it will be interesting to see if he can also be competitive in the Volta a Catalunya.
