TBF, is seems most Astana riders don't have any more races on their schedules. However, as Astana has quite a few races on the schedule, so he could still be added to some.
Or, is this a Mas kind of situation, where the team has publically announced that his season is over?

Not sure what you mean. There are several stage races this year he has multiple stage top-10s in.

EJ got top-10s in all three stages, and the GC. So decent haul.

I think it unlikely as the journo would look unprofessional and the rider would think they were taking the piss. But someone should do it.

Gall may have felt too secure with his 27 pts and hasn't raced since Vuelta. EJ now with the equalizer, a Top 10 in Paris-Chauny and the Münsterland Giro could put him ahead. Champoussin is still racing but not hitting the Top 10. It will be an exciting finish.

Problem is that there's still Kyushu coming up, where Jeanniere won two stages last year. Could be a heartbraking finale for him.
