Agreed. The guy surely achieves incredible values of VAM when running/skiing uphill. He's got a superb engine and low body mass and can be a great climber. Obviously his leg muscles need to switch to cycling effort, which is most crucial part. This is the guy to watch and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a top climber at some point.

He can be quite small, though. Especially when he is in the quantum realm I guess he can be hard to see. But I think Palzer is too tall an unbugged to be called Antman.

What pressure? He has zero to lose. If it works out the way Bora and he hopes then he will earn millions of Euros. If it doesn`t he can simply go back to his old life. There is no pressure at all.

Yes, he says it is just a test. It can go totally wrong, but he is really motivated and wants to see how good he can become. Bora doesn't expect him to be really good in the first year.
It goes both ways though. People with a background in cycling tend to do well in other disciplines as well. Like waiting tables and selling ice-cream.
