Just listen to the TCP interview. My understanding is all riders will be paid their contract and the 3 out of contract will be paid even though not in their contract.

they will be paid for the 2019 even if not racing?

Paid the contract year, so to 31st Dec. Delaney said every contract has been honoured. 5 riders in team had renewed contract for 2019, the others out of contract going to other teams I assume. 2 of those 5 riders already found other teams, so the last 3 riders with no contract for 2019 will be paid in 2019 too if nothing found by 31st Dec. No specific details, but he said he would do the right thing, so that would be paying those 3 until they find a new contract in 2019 is how I understood it.

Dunne and Warbasse for instance are describing themselves as unemployed. They are currently doing some week long two man mountain riding trip with Rouleur magazine. They would be two of the six or seven riders you would expect to find a new contract first (along with Dunbar, Pedersen, Denifl, Norman Hansen and Archbold, who has been announced by LottoNL)

Shane Archbold
@Theflyingmullet

Another speed bump in my career. A few rumours going around this week unfortunately the bad are true and the good false. I am out of contract for the rest of this year and no I haven't signed anything for next year. The search continues.

Sorry to hear that.

Dunne and Warbasse are on an eight day climbing trip around Europe when they were supposed to be at the Tour of Britain. The idea being both to train for the WCRR and to make themselves visible to teams while also taking a holiday. There are various YouTube videos and they are posting blogs to the Rouleur website.

The first day’s blog is below. In it Warbasse discovers that cycling over mountains with a bike laden down with holiday luggage is really, really hard. It seems the pros aren’t at all used to cycling while carrying a load of stuff.

Lotto Soudal should snap him up to lead out Ewan and Kluge

The blog doesn’t appear to specify if they’re riding 1x...

The day 1 blog mentions Larry is riding a one chainring bike

"So with my not-so easy road bike gear on my one chainring bike, I had to hit it and leave Conor behind. Sorry Conor! I knew going as quick as I could would be the only way I could make it to the top, as each time I dipped under a cadence of fifty, the weight of my packs caused my bike to sway."

Nice to see the riders starting to pick up teams.
Turned pro in 2014 in the Trek Factory Racing team and having raced from 2017 for Aqua Blue Sport, 25-year-old Australian rider Calvin Watson has decided to end his career as he has not found a team following the disappearance of Aqua Blue Sport. "I would like to thank my family, my friends, my supporters, my teammates, my co-workers and everyone I have worked with during my career as a professional cyclist." It was an incredible adventure. It's now time to focus my energies on new opportunities and I look forward to opening the next chapter" he wrote on Instagram.

Suppose not everyone could be lucky enough to find a new team.

So, what's the fate of the various riders?

Shane Archbold: Unknown.
Adam Blythe: Lotto.
Matt Brammeier: Retired (happened before team shut-down).
Mark Christian: Unknown.
Stefan Denifl: Unknown.
Eddie Dunbar: Sky.
Connor Dunne: Unknown.
Andrew Fenn: Unknown.
Aaron Gate: Unknown.
Lasse Norman: Corendon-Circus.
Peter Konig: Unknown.
Michel Kreder: Unknown.
Daniel Pearson: Unknown.
Casper Pedersen: Sunweb.
Larry Warbasse: Ag2r.
Calvin Watson: Retired (because of team shut-down).

So for a brief while it looked so good, with several guys getting new teams within a relatively short period, then… nothing.
Come on, Lefevre! You got the money now, you lost a lot of guys; surely you can squeeze in a few more than your stated 23!

I thought I read a rumour of Archbold’s mullet finding a team (and presumably the rest of him as well), but I can’t find it right now. I know Sam Bennett rated him highly as a lead out, and he lost out on his Bora contract through injuries more than performances, but on the other hand Bennett does seem to be wining more without him nowadays.

Yeah, think it was Jumbo, but he actually went out and said that wasn't actually the case.

And maybe in a few days we'll get the news that some team has signed just his mullet, and there'll just be a bunch of hair riding along on a bike.

Seems a little backwards that Aqua Blue first have to guarantee Decembers pay that is outside UCI's bank guarantee that would pay the riders until November in order for UCI to release Octobers pay? Some games being played here perhaps over Aqua Blue not yet having paid for their licence and anti-doping fees too perhaps?

Tell me, how do Rick Delaney’s boots taste?
