well................ I see everyone's gone on insulting me.

As much as expected from this bunch of internet tifosi that is hell bent on slamming anyone that merely states something that is not popular with the Lance Haters............ I find it rather amusing that you can get so bent out of shape when your people are dopers too......

ironic isn't it?

cheaters......... in more than one way
liar's in more than one way
scumbags in more than one way........

at least I accept that Lance is probably all of the above too but hey....... I don't go around on the boards tossing stones when living in a glass house.......

typical behavior.......... I get it

I am glad I am not a member of the internet tifosi either....

Can you name "my riders'?
Then when you do can you point out their involvement with PED's?

I have offered you the oppurtunity to clarify your position on why if "everyone" knows "everyone is doing it" then why does Lance need to continue the lie by denying any involvement.

Going on your logic - this shows Landis as being truthful and LA as being a liar - why defend,in your words a "scumbag"?

The thing I find kinda funny about this sub forum is how sure you all are about doping. Granted yes it is a obvious factor but really most of you guys talk about doping as if on the bus or getting the blood bags ready. Reading some of the clinic posts is like listening to 4th graders talk about sex even though the only person who has a slight smidge of a idea knows because he saw part of a scrambled dirty video. Sports are only as accepting as their fans, and cycling is so unaccepting because everyone will always be the first one to say the other person cheated.

Ill take some of the flak off you for a bit wheels.

Any of these names sound familiar:
Jesus Manzano, Jorg Jaksche, Floyd Landis, Paul Kimmage, Bernard Kohl, Willy Voet, Phillipe Gaumont ......

None of these guys were 4th graders, they were not only involved in Pro cycling, they were also involved with its PED culture and articulated it.

sometimes the complexity of romantic entanglements are so far beyond a 4th graders grasp that they dismiss solid explanations from more knowledgeable people on the subject as sounding ridiculous.

And how does this relate to Frankie Andreu?

Betsy? That you?

Coolhand's timely response to said article:

"Unintentionally hilarious- the best kind. At least make up plausible lies, otherwise I feel you just don't respect our intelligence Floyd. First the absurd Lance bribed the UCI and then EMAILED Floyd to brag about it claim, now this. Wonder if these behaviors are a result of the very long term Doping Floyd admitted too? Several dopers flames out very badly now."

Even SwitfSolo has made a reappearance:
"As I watched the awards today it was sad to think that Greg could have been there with Eddy and Bernard shaking hands and being an ambassador for the sport--but wasn't. Instead, he comes off as a bitter has-been. What a shame for him and the sport! It makes you wonder why he chose a different path than Hinault and Merckx!"

i suppose the difference is selfishness, ego and lack of conscience.

Uniballer convinced everyone on his team that everyone else was doing it so they had too.....and it turned into feeding his selfishness, ego and a gung ho damn everyone else

Lance in France?

What happened to all the wise, informed predictions that Lance would bail before entering France? Not sure which thread they were on but it doesn't matter much.

Let us know when you find them. Most here discounted that possibility rapidly.

I predicted quite some time ago he wouldn't start, and admitted a couple weeks ago I was probably going to be wrong.

what happened to God's smugly ignorant chamois sniffers who say that he has never tested positive?

Here's one:

What happened to all the wise, informed posters who insisted that Armstrong was clean, there was no way he'd dope after cancer, that he won because of better training, higher cadence, greater determination, etc? Not sure where they all went, but it doesn't matter much.

Let's not forget the amazingly high lactate threshold and heart three times bigger than normal...

I heard from an impeccable source that his heart is as big as a pumpkin. ;) Where did that source go anyway? He has to be around here somewhere.

A pumpkin, you say? Clearly the king of autumn gourds.

I heard it was as big as insulated motorcycle panniers.

Folks were responding to Lemond's cryptic prediction. Lemond probably meant he would be out of contention, not out of the Tour. Who knows? LA will fight to a dramatic end; emphasis on drama.

I hope that doesn't mean more oil on the road.

That's because Greg is bitter, delusional, bitter, obsessed with being the greatest American cyclist ever, bitter, desperate to be the only American to win the Tour three times, and a terrible business man who makes himself look silly every time he opens his mouth.

Oh yeah, and he's bitter.

Does anyone know Greg's whereabouts on the evening before Stage 2?
