The reason not to hug a cyclist should be they are too bony. Hence a sprinter or at least anything not a climber should be preferable

But that means if they have showered. If they haven't then heaven knows if I want any hug whatsoever. I feel for the wifes and kids when they are expected to kiss those dirty guys :O

1. If he nedeed a hug then maybe I would, but before I'd make up my mind someone else would probably already have given him one.

2. I'm not a kid anymore (at least not physycally).

I really thought you hade just as big a crush on Pinot as @BR2 has on Hodeg.

I once had two books (series) about "hugging therapy" with teddy bears illustrations. It was probably made for kids, but not sure. It was really cute. It said there had to be no sexual undertones in therapeutic hugs, so that should take the awkwardness away
