I agree with your order, but no love for ITT? That’s not a territory for you?2. Van der Poel: the only one who has his "territory", protecting it from Pogi (MSR, PR)

By my count that's 3 of the big 6 have racehorses named after them.
A horse called Primoz just ran in the 16:05 at Aintree. It fell at the canal turn. By my count that's 3 of the big 6 have racehorses named after them.

Vingegaard, Vanderpoel and now Primoz are the ones I have heard of.Who are the other two?
TTs are not big races, a small niche of fans care about that.
Of course a Remco fan would disagree with me. It's the only type of race where he still is relevant.someone clearly still hasn't gotten over it.

Is Michael Rodgers a big name of cycling? Or Tony Martin? No
Exactly my point. Remco is much more than a TT rider and for that reason he will end his career as a generational rider.race of truth in cycling, forever and ever, no matter what Gouvenou does.
and not a silly remco fan, since I just put him 4th in the Big Five hierarchy. Imagine a poster here who actually sees reality.
and LOL at Martin and Rodgers, did they win a GT, LBL and the Olympics double?
Remco 36th all time at age 26 despite all the set backs. Hardly a one-trick pony.
Big 5 without Vingegaard? Lol1. Pog
2. Seixas
3. Del Toro
4. Remco
5. VDP
Big Five.
Rog and WVA are no longer in the stratosphere.
TTs never were important races and for that reason Tony and Michael are hardly remembered.
Tony Martin is definitely a big name. He's up there with the specialists of his era, like Kittel etc.Of course a Remco fan would disagree with me. It's the only type of race where he still is relevant.

It is what I said, TTs never were important races per se.Tony Martin is definitely a big name. He's up there with the specialists of his era, like Kittel etc.
Mick Rogers doesn't really come close to Martin. The best time triallists of his generation didn't care about the World TT, it wasn't a proper contest. By Martin's time it was (hence him winning several Tour stages too).
Pre-2005ish, the big TTers were also GC guys – Indurain, Anquetil, Ullrich, Rominger, Moser, Armstrong, etc. But we remember them for their TT ability as well as their overall strength.
No I disagree. They were important races, you just didn't have 'specialists' (maybe also because TTs were hillier, so the rider they suited was heavier GC). That changed around 2005 with the rise of Cancellara and then Martin. It is what I said, TTs never were important races per se.
There’s a Tadej, Van Aert and Evenepoel also. No Seixas as of yetVingegaard, Vanderpoel and now Primoz are the ones I have heard of.
