Didn't have time to check but judging by number of posts I presumed mollema must have done something.

I presume sky did a disappearing act?

You should apply for their DS position...

You kidding? Because of his misplaced faith that Evans can compete and never tire, ACF would have worked Evans to exhaustion before the Giro! And still put him in the team for all 3 GTs cos he has a feeling that the field is one that will suit Evans.

Great win by Boke.
(Yes I request we call him nothing but Boke Mollema from now on)

I was expecting the others to try to put a bit more pressure on Martin though.

What if Bole loses this due to those seconds Lorenzetto took?

With only tomorrow's stage. I can't see Bole winning (probably Davis, Griepel, or a Haedo) and if there's no split, Martin will win.

(he'll soon be bigger than Cadel):p

He will have to put on a lot of weight.;)

A time for Dutch celebration. The saviour has landed.
No one was catching TGBM, once he had put the hammer down.
They ate his dust.

I have my some special remedies for cadel which will get him flying off the front. That's why I am applying for the soigneur/masseuse/ds role at bmc.

What a dissapointment by Szmyd... What was he waiting for? Why no attack? I dont get this guy, he keeps saying stuff, promising and none of these things ever happen. Maybe he forgot its not TdF and tmr is the end

Exactly as I figured it would be optimal. Attack between km 3 and 2, where the climb is the steepest, and use the false flat to gear up and hammer it down.

I actually thought: why didn't you go with the Polish guy with far too many consonants in his name? But of course now all is forgiven.

Good on you Bauke... First ever win with the big boys I believe.

Also, I think this wraps up 9 men for Netherlands at the Worlds (not like we'll need them).

There's still a fly in the ointment, by the name of Grega Bole.

well swiss have a guy in 4th place.
AG got a win here, and there is still Vattenfall -- where AG will probably ride, and place well.
so yeah, i suspect we wont have 9

Actually they didn't. Nordhaug came in 8th and moved into the top 20.
Didn't I say that after yesterdays stage? That the great Nordhaug would move into the top 20?

I'm an oracle clearly :D
