"There is no such thing as a moral or immoral book; books are well written or badly written."

Bronstein said:Sky's view of Froome prior to the 2011 Vuelta (The Climb, page 207):
"I remember speaking to Bobby at the end of the Tour of Poland. He was frank.
'Listen Chris, it's going to be difficult to get you into the Vuelta. There are other guys they want to take.'
...
'Chris, you're going to the Vuelta. Lars Petter has gotten ill. They're not going to take a chance with him so they're taking you instead.' (page 208)
Sky's pre-race plan (page 210):
'Objective: GC with Bradley ... Xabier, Morris and Froome will do their best to survive as long as possible and will fetch bottles etc.'
So Froome only ends up starting the Vuelta due to Nordhaug's misfortune and is only seen a bottle carrying domestique. Yet somehow he manages to come 2nd on GC after working for Wiggins for the majority of the race. Seems legit.

Whatever they're charging for this book, it's not enough, because I haven't been this entertained since Allen Lim tried to play dumb for the cameras at the ToC.![]()

Brailsford recalls his first encounter with Froome, during the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
'I was with Shane Sutton [the British head coach] on the beach road in Melbourne during the time trial. Chris rode past, and Shane said: "Bloody hell, there's a bloke in a pair of sand shoes, and he's going fast."'

The Hitch said:Froome was 2.45 on contador, 5.18 on Quintana, having destroyed contador in both the tt and the one previous contested climb. He had also destroyed everyone all season including contador on 2 mountains and a tt in the dauphine
In that excerpt he's acting like he's neck and neck with both going and relying on tactics to defeat them.

Contador attack was Barbbus's fault.
And he only attained 6km from the finish and Quintana was 30 meters ahead
Clearly Walsh's bullsh1t is in the italics...
