What might happen is eventually, his teammates aren't going to be willing to pull his as& around anymore up the climbs. They will mysteriously fade early, and then Froome will be required to haul his own as& up the mountains.

Curious if that comes to fruition. You have to think as a fellow team member that rides for this guy, what he actually thinks about you. Is Froomey sitting around with Michelle in the evening watching the telly just bad mouthing everybody?!?! He is real willing to throw criticism at other riders, Wiggo and the likes if he thinks there is never going to be a future relationship anyway.

If I was a guy paid to ride for him, it would make me serious think WTF he thinks about me also...now you got a real problem Froome. Froome's attitude and nonsense could soon make him one of the most hated guys in the Peloton which nobody will want to ride with/for. Backfire. Just a thought.

Who cares, Froome doesn't need a train, he is the train!

How many riders has he criticised that worked with him, Henderson who it seems wasn't much liked by his teamates anyway and Wiggo who withheld his prize money for a year. Has he criticised any other riders while at Team Sky or Barloworld?

They should read some of the football autobiographies I've read in the past.

Froome's was a pinch of salt in this aspect in comparing it to most sports autobiographies.

Theorizing about "all against Vroomie" tactics, let's not forget about the same thoughts during the times of The Mighty Uniballer.

So many suggestions about alliances, nothing really materialized, it was usually Ulle's Telekom that tried something, but far from 1-2-3-4 attacks over and over.

In the "new" era I can remember schleckies doing 1-2 several times.

Last year I wondered why normal guy like Froome is with such a crazy women like Michele. After reading snippets from his book in this thread I changed my mind: they are perfect fit :)

ehm... sometimes here we think pro riders think and behave like us forum users and fans.
it does not work this way.
if you get selected for the Tour on a top team you do your job and ride for the win, for the price money, for the bonus from the team.

Agree with this. No way the other 8 guys on Sky's Tour roster don't work for Froome. They've got to think about their next contract too.

Which is why Froome knew he was going to be leader of Sky after the Tour in 2012 otherwise he would never have behaved the way he did.

Maybe they want to work for Froome, but they really don't need to anymore. He can control a climb on his own.

He just needs teammates to get his asthma pump, food, drinks and illegal race feeds.

The last time we saw full idiocy like today was the legendary battle between Contador and Rasmussen up the Peyresourde.

Froome vs Cobo on Pena Carbaga was a pretty good show.

That would be interesting and totally consistent with the crazy Sky decisions. But Froome needs help being delivered to various critical points, protected from wind, food/water hand-ups.

The biggest question mark is BFF Porte.

If Porte goes on this season's form, Sky will only have 7 riders to work for Froome.

Dawg loved her for her independence, so the only thing he asked of her was to give up her independence. Too good.
