You mean Flecha can get top 3 against Boonen, Cavendish, Renshaw, Bennati, Bos, ...?

Dont think so. Both will try to finish up front but who will finish ahead of who is just gambling imo. But if chances are 50/50 and odds on Flecha are 2.60 it means value.

Wtf Bet365?

First saw a live H2H - Renshaw V Brown paying 1.45

I thought this was generous so took it, it went as low as 1.30-1.33 before they pulled it, only to replace it with Bennati v Brown paying 1.72... Admittedly they were only just ahead of Brown in the end, but if everyone is betting against Brown when he's against Renshaw what made them think it would be any different with Bennati?

At one point they had Haussler over Bennati at 2.10 too which just seemed stupid.

I got on Haussler for the win @ 8.00 which I would always be happy to take in that situation.

Thanks for the info on Flecha, thankfully I didn't see until I had already staked on Flecha over Boom and Chicchi over Cav (which both came in)!

St2 H2Hs out on B365
Alex Dowsett 2 Jack Bobridge 1.71
Andrea Guardini 1.83 Theo Bos 1.83
Danilo Hondo 1.57 Mirco Lorenzetto 2.25
Grega Bole 1.57 Matteo Pelucchi 2.25
Marc Renshaw 1.66 Danielle Bennati 2.1
Mark Cavendish 1.71 Francesco Chicchi 2
Mathieu Ladagnous 1.83 Frederic Guesdon 1.83
Michael Van Staeyen 1.54 Kenny Van Hummel 2.35
Roger Kluge 1.66 Koen De Kort 2.1
Russel Downing 1.61 Marko Kump 2.2
Tom Boonen 1.3 Heinrich Haussler 3.2
Tomas Vaitkus 1.71 Tom Veelers 2
William Bonnet 1.57 Aleksander Kristoff 2.25
Xavier Florencio 2 Giovanni Visconti 1.71

- tempted to take Chicchi over Cav again at 2.00 - If Cav ain't going for the win he often finishes near the back of the main group.

I like the look of Wiggins over Boom at 1.8 with Unibet

Boom was sick today and obviously lost the jersey so could finish down the pack or get dropped altogether if he's feeling off form again.

Also like the look of Galimzyanov over Brown at 2.1 with Paddypower. He finished at the front of the second group on the road.

Only rider worth the odd's is Basso, and he's shortening up fast these last 2 weeks.

However, that book shouldn't really exist anymore, we know Bertie's been handed a one year ban (subject to appeals) and will more than likely miss the tour, therefore the odds on that book are either a) irrelvant b) about to become the overall book.

Still not sure on Chicchi over Cav...

That's the only one of your picks I backed - I think it lost but still holding out hope until I see the official standings.

Did Renshaw over Bennati myself - HTC didn't seem at all organised for the sprint though.

Waiting on Wiggins v Boom too - that's anyone's guess...

Cav was 11th or something, 2 spots ahead of Renshaw. Chicchi was 15th. Who knows what HTC are doing.

Hondo over Kluge - 2.4 WillHill

Pinnacle looks to be down at the minute but also looking at these bets with them:

Galimzyanov over Kluge - 1.66

and the recommended

Bos over Bennati - 2.71

How do you figure that to be value?

I mean on stage 1 neither tried at all. Yesterday Van Staeyen atleast were up there and finished in the top 20 while Guardini didn't bother at all. I think we could easily see the same pattern today.

Farnese-Vini were doing a bit at the finish yesterday but obviously didn't get things together so Guardini wasn't involved but at least they had the intent and Van Staeyen's 17th place isn't exactly a sign he's on super form either so it seemed worth a small bet.

I've also gone with:

Guardini over Burghardt 1.83
GvA over O'Grady 1.91

Guardini should be getting a feel for the pace, expecting a top20 tonight. Burghardt is no sprinter. Only worry there is another split in the race.

O'Grady is part of the Leopard train (3rd last man ahead of Weylandt and Bennati?) and has no business placing high. Greg will probably be BMC's sprinter as Kristoff isn't showing anything.

O'Grady will be keen to look after his GC spot so will be keen to stay up front even if he does the leadout, could be an interesting one.
