@Squire I don't like Chicchi over Hondo, Quickstep was going for Boonen today, but he got locked up 700 meters to go. Don't know who they would go for tomorrow, but Hondo seems on form, and is a for sure captain. No offense just my view.

Wasn't able to see the race, so looking at the result lists, I assumed Chicchi was their man (as he was last day in Qatar). Will definitely not take that one then.

Bos over Hagen looks decent, but I've read that the finish is slightly uphill (not sure how much though).

Well done Timmy.
I had some success with Bennati over Goss at 2 and EBH over Thor at 1.57. I also went EBH overall at 17 with WilliamHill who I think had copied B365's but then were very slow to change.
For St2, I think Haussler will do better than today when he was impeded and have taken him @ 10 with SkyBet. Note I have taken this each-way and they are paying 1/4 odds for FOUR places.
Otherwise SportingBet have odds for Volta ao Algarve. They have Contador as favourite which I think is crazy. They have Kreuziger 2.1 h2h versus Contador which I will be taking. May also have small bet overall on Machedo at 12.

I Didn't see the race either, I just read it, but maybe Quick Step is riding for Chicci tomorrow, if so it's very solid.

It raises 10m the last km. I don't believe it makes big of a different.

Chicchi over Guardini went in easily. Tomorrow i'll try Bennati over Hagen @2.10.

In the past i checked all possibilities but in the end you still need luck on your side to win your bets. So from this Tour i'll try 'wrong odds'. Bennati was solid in Qatar so above 2.00 against Hagen is worth a shot.

Thanks for spotting this one so early. I also took Kreuziger at 2.1. Has gone in to 1.85 now.

Have put on this for tomorrow.

Tour of Oman Stage 2
Kristoff over Rollin @ 1.85

Algarve overall
Kreuziger over Contador @ 2.10

Algarve stage 1
Gallopin over Hinault @ 1.60

Don't understand why they have put up the last one. Gallopin had 3 top 10s in Mallorca, and is likely to be Cofidis' main sprinter. Keukeleire is the only other option, in which case Gallopin will probably be his lead-out. Hinault, on the other hand, isn't even a proper sprinter, and has teammates Mondory and Ravard far ahead of him in the team hierarchy. Strange h2h.

Just some generel advice in this thred from an experiensed cyclingambler.

Its fine to share tips (if youre not a pro tipper, as this tends to undermine the fragile market) but when people sometimes (often rightly) are trashtalking the traders as being incompetent either nothing happens or the traders will get replaced by somebody better or the bookie starts copying instead of having original odds or makes lower limits.

And the same when sharing to much of the big gift-odds more people play these odds the bookie loses more and soon the market is gone. WillHill is a good example as some years ago they had so many gifts it was unreal but then the word spread and now they mostly copy bet365. Other people might remember Multibet.com that had the most incompetent cyclingtrader of all time until the word spread, they lost a lot of money and stopped with cyclingodds. Ladbrokes also had tons of gifts years ago until they stopped their own odds after some forumtips. Enen Pinnacle used to have their own odds made by a horrible trader until they started being mentioned a lot in forums like this, and its a matter of time until traders from for instance xxx and xxx will be fired due to incompetance. Sadly Im limited exttensively both places, but I will be nice not to mention names.

Another thing is that when giving tips here the bookies might identify you and thus you will have a much bigger risk of getting limited, at least if you are sharp and winning, and also they might slash extra as soon as you play because they know you might post the tip and people might follow the bet.

Ofcourse forumtips like this is always a balance between undermining the market and having some fun and being helpful, I can surely relate, but everyone with some serious ambitions regarding cyclingbetting ought to consider the consequenses and at least downtone their language a bit.

I have btw. been a procyclingbetter for severel years and sadly the market is getting worse every day with more and more limits, more copying from the best skilled traders (bet365 and Nordicbet in my opinion) and far more extensive slashing when forumtips are given. And without a doubt most of the bookies are reading these pages too and adjusting accordingly.

Tour of Oman st 4 - Paddypower

P Sinkewitz v C Vandevelde
Stage Head To Heads
C Vandevelde @ 2.00

A Vinokourov v D Blanco
Stage Head To Heads
D Blanco @ 2.25

Reasons that Sinkewitz was in long small break on a windy day so will be tired tomorow, and I don't think Vino is in good condition from some reports I have read.

In an article on feltet.dk just before the race he stated he wanted to try and win the race so the form can't be that bad.

E.g. from his fb page:
"It's still a little bit hard for me to climb on the mountains. Therefore I don't have illusions about 4 stage
Yesterday at 17:03"
of course no guarantee, but 2.25 feels good value.

that is why i put a little bit of many on visconti, i know it is not his preferred terrain, but you never know, and maybe with sinkewitz tired visconti will get a go.

I'm just going to follow Timmy from now on...

Happy that Monfort and Albasini got top10, and made a bit from Gesink!

I got on Gesink for the overall yesterday when Vino said he wasn't in great shape, TT will be close IMO!
