Tour of Oman st 4 - Paddypower

P Sinkewitz v C Vandevelde
C Vandevelde @ 2.00

A Vinokourov v D Blanco
D Blanco @ 2.25

Reasons that Sinkewitz was in long small break on a windy day so will be tired tomorow, and I don't think Vino is in good condition from some reports I have read.

Sinkewitz stronger than I thought he would be, but VDV even stronger! Vino as weak as I thought, but Blanco even worse. Evens for the day.

I'm sitting still on EBH @ 17 for overall, but have hedged my bets and taken Gesink overall at 3.25 with b365 and VDV EW overall @ 31 with Paddypower (seems value EW?).

I've also gone for a small amount on Cam Meyer for the stage at 16 with B365. There could be some more value in this market. Good luck

k

Pretty sick that they still have the ew on VDV, huge value indeed.

BTW, SkyBet have a book open on the Track World Cup in Manc'land, and you can watch live on the BBC website (if you are UK only I think) - slightly better coverage than today's Tour of Oman coverage via twitter.

2.70 for Fugslang vs Monfort is a lot, worth a shot :p
Maybe I'm reading too much into Fuglsang's tweet (and the wink) yesterday, but I like this bet too:

"Auch...that was a hard finish today. felt really good until the last 2k where my legs just stopped cooperating with me...new day 2morrow ;-)"

Lost by just 11 seconds, was worth trying imo

Farrar - Greipel, 1 @ 2,00

Did I miss something?

Farrar's mentioned about targeting some semi-classics late last year didn't he? In which case makes those odd's even stranger. Where they from, i want some of that?

Odds are up at several bookmakers for Paris-Nice including a large range of odds at B365 including H2Hs for overall and stage 1.
I've had a small dabble at Kierlovski each-way @101 and Van Den Broeck @26

I've put a few £ on the overall for PN, and gone with these:

Rolland over Le Mevel @ 1.85
Hesjedal over Sagan @ 2.70
LL Sanchez overall winner @ 7.50

And a cheeky one for Vino podium @ 7
I know he's officially going for stage wins, but hey, it's Vino.

Will stick to one h2h per stage. Tomorrow I have C.Pineau over Izagirre @2.10

Squire, Just wondering where you got the podium betting for vino? i wouldnt fancy vino because of what astana have said but would have a few other fancys. tony martin is a standout for me at 3/1 with paddypower for the win. tt gonna be very important

Got it on SportingBet. Didn't put much on, but Vino is not one to soft-pedal no matter what his goals are.

For the overall, I'm thinking that Martin will lose more to Sanchez on stage 5 than he will gain in the TT. That is of course assuming Sanchez is in his usual Paris-Nice shape. With odds of 3.25 vs 7.50, I find good value in the Spaniard.
But Martin looks to have some serious form going, and will of course be the favourite.
