Or will he be partying in Belgium instead?

I thought he was always penciled in to go and sharing leadership with WVA?

Søren Kragh has been replaced by Anthon Charmig in the Danish team, because Kragh is once again suffering from saddle sores.

The Dutch team for the relay looks unbeatable this time:

Gilbert, Hushovd and Evans just to name 3 have won the worlds after racing the Vuelta.

Benoot is out for the season after his horror crash last month. NVH is there though.

i believe he packed for 4-5 weeks. His intention was always to go straight to the worlds after. Could change of course. Wonder if he’ll have anything left. Rog was a shell of himself in the worlds ITT a few years ago after winning the Vuelta. Doubt he will be able to challenge the likes of Pog and VDP and WvA who have trained specially. Love it if he can, but most likely scenario sees him as a decoy.

Valverde did a Tour-Vuelta combi prior to winning gold in Innsbruck. Pogacar won the Tour 5 days before winning bronze in Tokyo. Super compensation is a weird thing. He might be absolutely flying, he might be disastrous. But, like Shadow said, he has Wout. And Wout + Remco is probably the most lethal combination in cycling today, and maybe ever. Well, if they're on the same page that is. You don't chase Remco? You're cooked. You chase Remco? You're cooked.

WvA is going so all in that he’s not even doing the ITT which I’d have surely laid money on him to win. Remco is doing it but he’s up against Ganna who’ll have specifically prepped for it.
I think in the past few years Ganna has been kind of fortunate because his team have allowed him to focus on this whereas most of the other big favourites in that discipline have other targets to achieve.

The will be quite the experience, given that riding in the peloton at the top level is different than gravel (or Wednesday Night World's against Quinn Simmons and others.)

I doubt that it’s a factor in the choice but it feels a bit like the EF marketing of American rider who do “interesting” bike stuff even if they’re not performing well racing. The possible down side to this is that if Powless has the form (which I am not up to snuff on) I would go all in on supporting him, with McNulty the ‘B’ option.

Yes, Craddock had his visa declined - People within Bike Exchange with connections to the Aussie Government will ensure this decision is overturned.

McNulty has already said he’s not going to the worlds and Powless isn’t a certainty to go either, he said he’ll make his decision on Sunday.

It's very sad to see that the race taking place in Australia (together with the search for UCI points) is bringing such a huge amount of great riders to stay away. The start list will be rather underwhelming compared to what could have been.

Too old.

Matt Brammier is going with the young guys, the more senior ones have repeatedly under performed.

There has also been some Ineos pressure on their riders to decline.

The circuit is about as controllable as the Richmond one. More than 13 km of continuous flat roads make it easy to chase and control moves. So I seriously doubt the success of any attacks before the last lap, and I think all primary team leaders will wait until then as well.
