Jumbo Visma

Ineos:

Furthermore Novak apparently signed for UAE. Tesfasion goes to Trek, B&b Carrefour really intrested in Matthews
And UAE and Bora have shown intrest in Kung even tho he's still under contract.
JV seem to be signing all the riders UAE need. It's a good thing there are no TTTs these days, even the Jumbo B team would crush everyone.

Except for the Vuelta. I’m giddy for that domination.

Do you know more then we do? Looking at PCS they are sending basically the same squar with Almeida as 2nd GC Option and Ackermann taking a roleur spot. They will for sure loose to Quick-Step, Ineos and Jumbo in the TTT. Of course having Almeida there could be huge for Pogi, but there are not that many real multi mountain stages where to leverage numbers.

The Vueltais always a gamble when it comes to the form of the contenders. If. everyones in shape a lot of squads could be. very strong but there will be some late cancellations and cases of bad form.

I’m meaning the TTT for Jumbo. Provisionally, they already have Dennis, Roglic, and Affini lining up.

UAE has forgotten that rouleurs exist I think. To be fair losing Trentin didn't help, but they need some classics riders asap

Classic Gianetti/Matxin team.

Clinic issues aside, remember Saunier Duval with the mighty lineup of Ricco, Cobo, Simoni, Piepoli, Marchante, De La Fuente, Koldo Gil, Iban Mayo, etc.

It was my go-to team in PCM 2007 to ride a mountain stage with a complete team of climbers.

Belgian media has linked Jens Reynders to the team. He won't be TdF-material next year but he could become a very decent rouleur for Pogi in a year or two.
Send him to the Giro or Vuelta next year, see how he improves and then in 2025 or so you could send him to the Tour.

They needed to be going after riders like Van Baarle. If they can outbid JV for Bennett surely they can do the same for riders they're short on

It's much more complicated than that, though. Firstly, not all riders will be fought over by other teams to the same extent and secondly, the riders might have other ideas about what they want from their careers.
By that logic one can say why doesn't EF have the strongest team in the peleton if they could outbid Ineos for Carapaz. The highest budget doesn't always win you all the riders you want.

Someone like Van Baarle or Kung would've been perfect for UAE, though.

Jumbo are lining great riders, but where do they fit in a Tour team? I imagine at least DVB will want to ride the Tour and there you have Dennis as well.
It's not like their team has a weak link. Benoot has been good, even SK senior was good.

Regarding UAE, hopefully Pog is intelligent enough to figure out what the team is missing and address it.

Roglic will need some domestics as well in the Giro and Vuelta. Leave the Tour for the big boys.

For the Northern Classics it's not.
From the article:

He's said that he wants to be "a priority of the team" and have the freedom not only to chase the cobbled classics - where he thrived this year - but also one-week stage-races, where he has surprised this year with a newly acquired climbing capacity and a fifth place at his home Tour de Suisse. Whilst at Groupama - FDJ he has enjoyed freedom, he wants an absolute leader role.
It's probably not going to happen in a team with Pogacar, Almeida, Ayuso and McNulty. To be honest, it's going to be a big ask at any good team.

Amber Pate is an older rider who has a big engine and will be used as a support rider while Alissa Polites is a 19 year old who is an untapped talent who finished 3rd in the Aussie National Championship - She'll take time to develop.

Rudy Porter is an excellent signing - Has been performing well in GC in Under 23's one week stage races. Blake Quick has been signed as the Groves replacement - I am unsure about this signing and wonder whether he is WT standard.
