Teams & Riders The Great Big Cycling Transfers, Extensions, and Rumours Thread

Page 326 - Get up to date with the latest news, scores & standings from the Cycling News Community.
Well, according to PCS - who we know only updates their lists once a signing/extention has been confirmed by the team - QS is still only at 25, with Moscon. So, remind me who the last two riders rumoured to join/have extended are.
Of course, it is possible that the last two riders have in fact been announced, but that PCS just hasn't seen it yet.

Paul Magnier is one of them.

James Knox has extended and Paul Magnier is in. They were the 25th and 26th riders on the roster.

PS: Several teams have cut down their roster to 27 / 28 riders and are relying on completing squads with youngsters from their devo team, allowing them to save a bit of budget and use u23 riders to fill-in race schedules rather than using more expensive riders "simply to make numbers".

Thats just the economy these days.

Budget constraint is more likely than Lefevere being stupid
I would ride for free! I could fetch bottles in small races . I would give my all for Fausto every race, work and suffer like an animal. Maybe we could get a couple of other amatuers from the forum who are happy to give up their weekends and go to levevre, and say, you call us if you need a guy to go in breakaway at Nokere korse or clasica Almeria. Just pay us with a good pasta and we go to work on Monday with a story to tell. No money spent.

Pretty sure that wouldn't be allowed.

Good for both parties. Corratec is making this year the signings expected. Bonifazio, Mareczko, Sbaragli will give them placings, some victories and points. Monaco and Mark Stewart are good reinforcements as well.

DSM just announced the expected Van den Berg and Liepins.

Notable riders that apparently remain on the market: De la Cruz (guess he has a contract), Eiking, Pernsteiner, Postlberger, Gebhrezhabier, Kudus and Dombrowski.

Cimolai, Edet, Amador, Grondahl Jansen as well but i would expect them all to retire for diferent reasons (age and injuries / illnesses, or a combination of both factors).

I doubt Julius Johansen will be going to Corratec since he's based in Spain, but stranger things has happened.
