Seen from an unbelievably reliable and official Spanish language source that Primoz Roglic is in fact on his way to Movistar. Vamos!

Wait, what?

I'd LOVE that. I have missed Movistar being a team capable of doing anything outside of the Vuelta. Longing for the days when everybody talked about how stupid they were, but the reason they were even talking in the first place was the fact that they had Quintana, Landa, Valverde, MAL and Mas in a very, very short span. Movistar has literally been nowhere relevant ever since Valverde retired outside of the Vuelta. Bring back the glory days...

How credible is this though?...

Wait. You think that's going to change with a guy unable to win any grand tour other than the Vuelta a Espana!?

Apart from one Giro d'Italia where he had all luck in the world with 2 stronger contenders going out of course.

Yeah well, thats the ironic part, isnt it?

Roglic can pick up some nice week long stage races though, and he's still just a better rider than Mas. I don't expect that much from Roglic in July, but everywhere else he should have a level to compete for the victory if he's not facing Jonas and Pogi.

It seems a clickbait site and nobody serious has confirmed the story for now.

Most absurd rumour is Beppe Conti claiming that Ineos will by Lipoblitz out of hus contract. He is the big German star at Bora, he won't leave soon, unless the whole Belgian Waffle Staffel starts an enemy takeover and ruins the team
You're right about that. Lipowitz supposedly has a long-term contract. So nothing will happen for the time being. Especially as Denk dreams of celebrating great success with a rider the team has trained right from the beginning. Preferably with a German. Lipo is also developing well in the team.

A change will therefore not be an issue until next year at the earliest if he realizes that with the new sporting management and perhaps Remco the framework no longer suits him.

I think the rumor only exists because Ineos still needs a strong new rider.

They should try to buy Ayuso out of his contract, not only to get him, but also San Millan and knowledge about the inner workings and other stuff at UAE.

The absurd thing would be to pretend that Lipowitz has already accomplished something that he hasn't, he rode good in 2025, but years before he had some minor wins, his TDF podium hardly establishing him as a rider to build a team around. His tradition is not of winning, he is an excellent racer solid for sure, but hardly an established winning commodity.

I would find the addition of Roglic as a major distraction, everything from communication to team objectives.. Where does Roglic fit in races that include Romeo,Rubio, Mas? Who is the leader? Who is there for support?

Well, everybody has to start somewhere. Lipowitz has been a pro for two and a half years. A TdF podium is about as established as anyone not named Pog or Vingegaard can get nowadays. Who else would be a better signing (hypothetically, as I don't really believe that article)?

He is a great rider!! He is solid and pretty consistent, there is nothing not to like about Lipowitz, including his body type, he has some powerful looking features maybe leftovers from his skiing excellence. I hope he keeps rising for sure. And I agree a podium is impressive. I hope that the Remco relationship is prosperous for both riders.

I can't stand the guy, but not sure you can call someone who delivered12 GTs in 8 years a fraud.
Depends on whyhe's being called a fraud. If the implication is that he's scamming people by making big promises he is never going to deliver on, then sure, that would be a ludicrous claim. But if the implication is that the results he has delivered were obtained fraudulently, then the results themselves are immaterial to calling him a fraud.
