Hmmm, that would be his 3rd team in one season, is that even allowed?
Considering that one of the teams he was on folded, he might be given an excemption.

For me the exemption would make sense if it was his last team that folded but not the penultimate one.Considering that one of the teams he was on folded, he might be given an excemption.

I suppose you're right. At least it's probably a bit more complicated than what I first suggested.
Don't riders always need an exemption when doing mid-season transfers? At least when it's anything higher than conti-level? So, I'm guessing that he'd need an exemption either way, even if he'd been on Androni all season.
However, if there is a "number of teams per season" limit, I'm guessing the exemption that would then already have been given is that they would simply not count Gazprom. And of course also the fact that he was allowed to find a new team mid-season.
Did that make sense? I feel like that didn't make sense...

Christian Scaroni will ride Astana for the rest of the season.
Alexis Guerin to UAE?
Jumbo signing all the riders UAE needs. And UAE signing all riders they don't need.
Apparently you can't get everything with money.
Really like Pogacar, but UAE is the worst set-up.
Absolutely, they haven't understand yet that what they need is strong rouleur types not more climbers.
they were close to signing him last year already, but went for Brunel instead.Alexis Guerin to UAE?

They need strong riders. And I agree - roleurs even more. But apart from McNulty's one great day the Tour also revealed they are nowhere to be seen in the mountains. Majka is behind (Vingegaard), Roglic, Kuss, Kruijswijk. McNulty maybe on par with Benoot. Soler and Bennett wouldn't make the JV Tour selection.Absolutely, they haven't understand yet that what they need is strong rouleur types not more climbers.

Lack of strong sports director, also tactical weak with-in the races.
And the set-up is so unprofessional compared with Jumbo. I saw 6 UAE staff members in the airport 3 days before the tour start in Copenhagen. The airport was PACKED and non of the staff member was wearing mask. They had 4 covid cases in the tour that we know of. These things wouldn't happen at Jumbo, I'm sorry to say it.
Thats totally true but I don’t give them the benefit of doubt since the two previous years were not better. To be fair, they had *** luck with regards to their climbers during the Tour. Bennett go covid, Soler OTL, and Majka had what was without a doubt the most unlucky accident in this year's tour.
