According to journalist Miguel Hermosilla on Twitter, after several years without good results, Andrés Camilo Ardila is close to change team for the next season. The Colombian rider was the winner of the Giro d’Italia Under-23 in 2019, dominating the rase and winning two stages, but since his performances have been disappointing. Although the rider is still under contract with UAE for 2023, Ardila is expected to move to Burgos-BH to regenerate his professional carrier

Yeah, he's a punchy guy who can climb well enough, but definitely not a climber. Potentially he has the skillset of a rider like Simon Clarke or Benoit Cosnefroy rather than a real climber.

I wouldn't be so sure. He got his results against weaker competition, Cosnefroy could also beat Vadim Pronskiy and Paul Double if he peaked for Adriatica Ionica.

Yeah, rode for them as a stagiar aswell. UAE really wanted him but I guess he will get more freedom at Israel? I don't see them missing any major classics with Vanmarcke, Van Asbroeck and Teuns in their roster. And perhaps he isn't rushed to ride a GT.
