I thought the whole point of Foss leaving Jumbo was that he doesn't want to be a domestique, but I could be wrong. He's like the ultimate example of someone who hasn't realized the law won :) (the law of gravity, in his case)
I think the Ineos top-level domestique package includes all the aero and free shots at time-trials and team backing for select one week races. It seems like he'd rather have that than leadership at Uno-X.

Politt hasn't ever really delivered on the semi-breakout of 2018, perhaps apart from a decent 2021.

Wins for Bora: German RR, German ITT and Rund um Köln. Only podium apart from this is Deutschland-prologue.

Classy rider, but not a point in his career where he's an A-lister. Way too few points compared to someone like Trentin.

Good rider, but not a winner.

He has been a bit like the 2.0 version of Vanmarcke.

I agree that he didn't achieve a breakthrough in the big races, but all in all he got 5 Top10 results in the bigger cobbled classics between 2021-2023. So still clearly the best in a bad classics squad which is also a reason for his results. If you are not an A-lister you need a broader team to have a bit of tactical flexibility.

This is why the move would make sense from a UAE perspective. Perfect rider to just go with early moves in Flandern or PR and just sit in. Also very good in situation where he has to position others. I think it is in that domestique role that he shines most and UAE missed that in the Tour 2022.

I still think Bora and him should come together adn renew the contract. Without him Bora has no one tom give them any kind of results in the cobbled spring classics which is a big part of season and UCI points. They probably don't want to overpay and think that part of Politts job could be taken over by Denz but for the spring campaign they would be left with Meeus, Haller, Koch and probably give Welsford a shot here an there. That's basically a nonexisting classic team. As I wrote in another post probably only signing Schmid could give them something in that category.

Sobrero would make sense for the GT helper squad but why shoudl he then move to Bora. Seems likely that they have to give him some chances to target races in his calendar and I don't see the fit there

Sobrero to Ineos on the other hand would make tons of sense, since he's a close friend of Ganna and his sister's long term boyfriend.

Moerkoev more than hinting in an Interview with Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet today, that his days are numbered on Soudal, and that he likes the thought of going to Uno-X next season (where his brother is a DS).

He also says he believes he has a couple of years left at top level, but that he has not signed with anyone for 2024 yet - says he is talking with both Soudal and a couple of other teams, and that it will be important for him to perform at the Tour for that reason.

Uno-X would make sense as he has worked with Kristoff before - and also he may actually be able to teach Cort some positioning, so he can take part in bunch sprints more frequently.

Probably means too that Casper Pedersen will become Merlier's lead out guy in future.

According to the number 1 (or number 2 behind Magnus Aarre?) cycling journalist in Norway, Jarle Fredagsvik, the former u23 World Champion Sven Erik Bystrøm will leave Intermarche and join FDJ next season! I didn't see that one coming.

It's been known Uno-X been very interested, but combination of high salary demands and not many open spots (22 riders officially for next season + Cort, Leknessund and Hvideberg reportedly signed) made them back down.

It will be very interesting to see how Uno-X fills their last 5 spots.
From this years team Træen, Gregaard, Charmig, Hindsgaul, Eg, Halvorsen, Normann, Larsen and Sindre Kulset are without a contract and I would want to see them keep Træen and Gregaard definitively and maybe Charming and Hindsgaul.

From the outside Michael Mørkøv have said he is interested, Boasson Hagen have said the same, and Uno-X have said earlier this year that Hoelgaard is a target.

It's not enough space...

They can always move riders down to the devo team to free up spots ;)

You hinted Traaen could end on a WT. I see them extending a couple of their riders, Gregaard and one of Charmig/Hindsgaul. The others surely leave.

Hoelgaard should be pencilled in for next year.

What about Eiking? A return to Intermarche? He did not fit in well on EF.

Meintjes almost certainly to extend with Wanty for two seasons.
